I am surprised he didnt have a plan. Or, if he did, that it has was this badly miscalculated. I wonder if his self admitted Asperger's didnt greatly factor in to his inability to read the room.

Truth is he bought a platform that really hasn’t improved much since its origins.  Basically, he bought the copyrights.  Twitter was and is bad security, susceptible to bots, poor business plan with relatively unfocused advertising and crap for algorithms based on what Twitter sends randomly (for the last six months they have been sending me stuff in Spanish).  Twitter isn’t and hasn’t been profitable and has a bad ad focus model.  It is also a time of decreasing ad spend in social media.  It’s effecting Meta and Google too.  Now the $8 a month authentication subscription was a failure as a first attempt but cutting the workforce makes some sense.  Given how over capitalized Tesla is he was basically using other fools money on Twitter.  Tesla capitalization is greater than that of Toyota, Volkswagen and Honda combined.  It’s ridiculously higher than GM or Ford. The Tesla P/E ratio is a joke. (Musk’s real wealth is Space X, which is privately owned).  Meanwhile, GM may have surpassed Tesla on assisted driving and both GM and Ford are going to give Musk serious rivals in electric vehicles and the Chinese are ahead of him.  So Musk parting with some Tesla ownership at overinflated stock prices isn’t unlike Dorsey et al doing the same with the sale of Twitter.  Frankly, for most of us, Twitter is just a convenient way to follow free reporting on our sports teams.

Deepest line in history and can't get pressure on the QB or stop the run. We expect two old guys to fix those problems?

A sane commissioner would have had the game at LSU. One with a New York bias might have other ideas.

This has bothered me for years and I like to bring it up anytime something similar arises.

I remember it. And they painted the Saints logo in the end zone and on the field. That was even more of a joke.

edit: you mentioned that in a previous post

Damn shame i tell you

Barnett is out for the season, correct?

Reid Sinnett can say he's a pro football player.

Can Amazon follow twitter so we can get TNF with a decent video quality?

I'm confused by the complaints about TNF & video quality. I cannot see a difference in video quality between Amazon & NFL network. I wonder if having a wired network makes a difference. I'm also not watching on a portable device.

There was a really long interview on uniwatch.com about this.  Usually behind a paywall, but this story is free to read.

i had to turn it off last night. It’s so bad it’s unwatchable. We have had amazon for years. I watch stuff all the time on there and it’s great. It’s just TNF.

I just can't get my hopes up for two 35 year old big boys who didn't spend any time on a roster or had a training camp. Both will be on IR by Tuesday.

I don't know what to expect but maybe they get more out of Cox and Jernigan just be cutting down their snaps.  I hope they get more out of the Joseph signing.
