It continues to sound like snake oil in every form or fashion.

That's because it mostly is. Unregulated "currency", what could possibly go wrong?

Blockchain is about the only useful thing about it, but like the article states, it doesn't need bitcoin/crypto to be useful.

Lay the points with the Eagles this week.

Lack of success up front?

top 3 in pass rush

5th in sacks(behind 2 teams that played more games, so 3rd in sacks)

Best QBR Against..

This fan base is crazy

I’m talking about the run defense.

I would take the Colts +7. That’s probably a sucker’s bet though.

Even with our "horrible” run defense, we’re…*checks notes* 8-1.

It would appear that we’ve sacrificed run D and we’re really fantastic at pass D, in a passing heavy league. Who would think that would lead to success?

Even with a good ground attack, teams need us to turn the ball over. For all the crap I’ve thrown at Hurts, he is fantastic at protecting the ball.

It’s a lot of teeth gnashing over a porous run D, that in the grand scheme of things, ain’t that bad a problem to have

Thanks for the evidence that 74 is indeed an ugly number for a DL.

Our run defense numbers dont tell the true story.

WGAF giving up an 8 yard, 12 yard run when you're up by 20 in the 2nd half.

I'd be curious to see the YPR while up 10 points compared to YPR under 10.

I don’t think there is any debate whether our run defense has been severely lacking the last two games.

@bpac55 do you watch college football?

One game we crushed the Texans.

The next game we lost because of two uncharacteristic fumbles. Get a grip

Yep

Suh should have demanded #87

The defense has given up double digit points two times this season in the second half (DET and DAL). For how frustrating the run defense has been, they’ve made good adjustments in the second half. If opposing defenses continue to force 3-4 turnovers a game, then I’ll start to get concerned. I know some people think the sky is falling after the WAS loss, but that was a game where there were 4-5 outlier events that just didn’t go their way. It was the perfect storm for a loss and they essentially lost by one score not counting the last play laterals.

So throw out the first 7.... got it.

The offense giving the ball away and not scoring was more the issue in my opinion.

We're a high flying team, built to stop teams in shootouts. When you're offense doesnt put up ANDDDDD gives the ball away of course the defense is going to look "bad"

And Bad is relative, because a TON and I mean a TON of NFL teams would like to have a 3.1ypc game.

I just think this fan base is making a huge Mountain out of a speed bump(Its a bigger issue than amole hill) but no where near where were making it out to be

Yep. Run d is our Achilles heel, but you have to land the perfect arrow to hit it. Most weeks it won’t work.

We’ve invested too much in DT in recent years, while neglecting the secondary, edge and linebackers. I would hate another high pick on a DT

100% agree. 3-4 DE/4-3 DE is not a premium position in Gannon's scheme. NT is, given how we want small box counts.

I actually think MLB is a premium position given the way we want to play. Our LB is vital to all the zone coverage we run, plus he has to fit the run from depth. That's a top 50 pick.

No I didn’t say to throw out the other games beforehand. We’re just talking about a run defense that is struggling. They’ve given up like 150ish three games in a row and just allowed the Commanders to possess the ball for 40 minutes. I’m not freaking out and saying the season is over. I’m just expressing concern over the scheme that I’ve never liked and the front who aren’t playing the run well.

If you're trying to say Musk was a moron for paying $44B for Twitter, we're in agreement. All more to the point that he's not nearly as smart as people seem to think.

Not saying either way on that.  I think Musk likes challenges and turning Twitter around (if he does) would be a challenge, imo.

I think people are a little confused. Teams that continue to run the ball against us usually do so decently enough to both keep our offense off of the field and keep the game closer than it maybe should be. We saw it week one. We saw it the last two weeks.

No one is saying that we're a garbage team or that we couldn't win the game. Obviously we can. Had our offense not turned the ball over stupidly multiple times, we don't have this conversation.

Given that we have largely played teams that either don't have a good running game or a good quarterback, this has largely been unnoticed. As we get into the playoffs, soon these teams are going to have both. It's reason for concern.

To simply ignore it as "Hur dur, we're 8-1" is just as asinine as those that think the team is going to get run all over with ease each week and we'll start to pile up loses.

Every number looks great in the Kellys.

Taylor likely puts up over 100 yards this week. He’s really good.

If we win the turnover battle, we win the game running away

A lot are forgetting that Washington has a pretty good DL and they are the only team that has held the Birds under 100 rushing yards, and they've done it twice. It also didn't help the Eagles coughed the ball up 4 times.

Eagles success has been due to limiting their turnovers and controlling the clock with the run game. They did neither of those against Washington. They have a good opportunity to get back on track against Indy, and we will see how effective and how much Joseph and Suh play. I see them using Sanders early and sticking to their game plan. Felt they kind of abandoned the run too early and then took too long to get back into a rhythm.

What teams have a good run game and good QB? You also need a good defense to stop our really good O.
