Am I wrong to be getting annoyed over the massive increase in using stats instead of just using our eyes and looking at the records ?  I agree with the parcells quote and your record being a true reflection of where a team is.

I think some of the advanced analytics start to become silly. Also when people like Reuben Frank slap on a million different qualifiers to create his own statistic to fit his narrative is equally idiotic.

Serious question... do you shut your computer down every time you walk away from it because you think it will explode or grow legs and walk out if you leave it unattended?

Do you, since you think Twitter will shutdown due to the massive layoffs?

I think certain stats do show how much a team is routinely successful. It should also match up with what you observe.  Also past statistical performance doesn’t win games.

All I am pointing out is that people got in a tizzy over the N word usage and clutched their pearls coz Elon, but there is vast quantities of pooorn and kiddie versions of it that seemed to just be there for years and years.  And as  you point out, the backlog was never cleared, but if you make certain comments, you'd be banned ASAP

One reason is the child porn people constantly shift and morph, and it takes a lot of resources to keep up with them, plus finding personnel to do so isn't easy, for a lot of people that kind of work leads to rapid burnout.

Uh huh…

90% gone, and all Elon is doing is reinstating banned accounts today.

Go back to CVON where you can circle jerk with the rest of your snowflake buddies!

Well, I wonder what Elon is going to do for revenue to cover his interest payments.

As Twitter becomes the "Wild West' Advertisers will flee, b/c they don't want to be tainted by association.

And if you start charging, Twitter will be reduced to a bunch of misanthropes throwing insults at each other and paying for the privilege.

I'm just waiting for Twitter to declare bankruptcy in a few years.

A 90% reduction in headcount after just two weeks? No. That most definitely does not happen more often than not.

Especially in this labor market, good luck finding workers if you need to suddenly add b/c you cut too many.

No one in their right mind would work for Twitter, stock options are worthless, and I doubt if they're cutting costs they're gonna pay well above market.

Tesla and Space X are profitable companies.  The problem is that if there's a downturn in their business or significant problem with a product.  No one is going to believe that Elon can be the man to fix it.

Telsa is primarily a business plan built on first mover advantage and government subsidies, the first mover advantage is rapidly evaporating as there are few barriers to entry for established car companies. Goverment subsidies are shifting from luxury cars (high margins) to lower cost cars.  Space X has a limited market.

Didn't Elon pledge a lot of Telsa stock as collateral for Twitter?

no politics, Im not saying it again, enough with this twitter crap, yall still taking it balls deep hours later

Yeah I watched it about 5 times and it seems the dive was unnecessary, which begs the question did he dive in purpose and why? I mean like I said he keeps his feet he scores, or did he just lose his balance and take a dive??

Quez is probably the only one who knows, either way too bad he couldn't keep his feet and doubly too bad he fumbled upon getting up

Just a really good play turned really bad☹️

Having said that I really hate the way steichen/sirrianni are utilizing Devonte Smith.

He's and explosive player with good length good speed and is averaging just over 10 yards catch because so many of his targets are 5 yard passes, it's just weird.

Draw up some plays to get him deep take a shot or two a game instead of just throwing him wr screens and 5 yard hitches and ins all game 🤷‍♂️

Yep.  For all the 8-0 goodwill and sentiment that drafts have gone better, there remains a discrepancy between drafts and player utilization on the field.

We’ve all been through Milton Williams.  A high first round pick on an intermittently utilized 160lb WR who gets mostly underneath passes in traffic while Parsons was available?  Eeeh, that’s not a good pick.  I’m not saying that’s the final script for Smith, but it’s got to change to justify his draft position.  They could easily have Pascal in his current role.  Didn’t need a high first for that.

Dickerson, a 2nd round LG,  is probably Howie’s best round 1-3 draft pick since…I guess Goedert.

Itll be nice if we can keep politics out of it. But twitter talk is pretty relevant in here. Just as it would be a big story if ESPN or NFLN was going off the air, and would be discussed in here. We probably consume like 200% more NFL content from twitter than we do from either of those networks. Its a big deal.

I know I haven't seen basketball talk her but I just thought I'd say that Giannis is literally shooting FTs worse than Shaq. Literal air balls.

So what is everyone’s thoughts on if Seth Joyner was available to be a defensive coordinator? Or at least a linebackers coach?

yay or nay? Would Lurie consider?

The irony of you telling anyone to stay in their lane after you tried to wade in on software development is just the best.

We got Vic waiting in the wings once Gannon is gone.  Not that I think he deserves it but maybe he gets a HC job this offseason as long as the defense doesn't do a complete nose dive.

Does Frank Reich lose any of that Indy $, if he comes in as a senior advisor/Steichen insurance?
