Pretty amazing how Minnesota completely forgets about Jefferson. Not saying Dallas isn’t doing a good job taking him away but the fact he has 4 targets and hockenson has 9 and thielen has 3 to his 4 is ridiculous.

Got back to our Airbnb after the game. Fun atmosphere. The Colts fans were much louder than expected, but still lots of loud Eagles fans there.

Can someone please explain to me what the hell was going on with that QB sneak line up prior to fourth down? That was one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen. 

And helluva game from the old-arse new guys. Looks like Joseph played quite a bit of NT even on second and long. In the past, I think we pulled Davis in those situations. 

Gainwell and Scott can both go, as far as I'm concerned. They do nothing for me.

They were trying to draw the colts offsides to get the first down. I’m guessing with 2 timeouts and 1:24 left sirianni figured if the eagles didn’t get the 4th down conversion even with calling 2 straight timeouts they’d only get the ball back with under 25 seconds needing a td to score. So use the timeout to try to get them to jump and then get the play you want in on 4th down.

Tbh if sirianni was gonna try that I’m not running that particular formation when it was a long 2 yards to even attempt a sneak like that. The colts had to know that’s what you were trying to do. I would’ve spread them out then try to drop them offsides. Maybe they do jump then thinking that you actually had a play you wanted in there. I don’t think any of the colts players when they saw that formation and far is the Eagles had to go on a sneak thought they were remotely snapping that ball.

That was beyond idiotic. I wanted them to hang onto that TO in the event they turned it over on downs. Fortunately they didn't, but trying to get cute there and "sneak" on 4th and 2 was obviously an attempt to draw them offsides.

Just a really baffling decision.

its a nice clean stadium. Tame by philly standards. At the monday nighter a few years ago it was the second half before anyone flipped me off!!

They are still the clear favorites for the 2nd seed in the NFC.

I'm not predicting an NFCCG or anything but hot take Harry talking heads saying they were exposed or some drivel like that has no meaning since almost every other team has been exposed 3 or more times.

It was a long 2. I thought it was closer to 4th and 3 where they had it. It’s why I didn’t understand why they went to the formation to try and draw them offsides. no way in hell the Colts see that formation and think oh yeah you’re just gonna try to sneak it for basically 3 yards in that formation when they stacked that box. with 1:24 left and only 2 timeouts I get the logic where if you fail on 4th then (if make 3 stops) likely get the ball with under 20 seconds so the odds you go down the field and score a td to win are slim. So if you can try to draw them offsides and take the timeout has some merit even if it weren’t the route i go. I just thought it was stupid to run the formation they did trying to do that. The colts new based off formation they weren’t snapping it

Imagine pulling Davis, and still having a legit NT in the game.

NOW, the eagles dont have to be so obvious with what theyre doing on D based on whether Davis is on the field, or off the field.
