Like I said, I want him back but when it comes to roster decisions, tape like this from Blankenship is going to come in to play...especially if the Hurts $50 million conversation is real.  Saving money by letting guys like CGJ walk and having a starter on an UDFA salary goes a long way when paying QB premium.

The second the pocket collapses, anything besides the LOS is automatically eliminated from the passing game.  The defense can completely collapse on Hurts and vacate their coverage.

It's beyond frustrating.  I've vented about this a lot lately.  DeVonta Smith is a legit deep threat and they use him like a possession WR.  They don't throw many passes that allow for RAC, it's all like you said, comebacks and curls.  Turn and catch, go down.
