  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Hopefully that helps AJ snap out of his funk.  Leadership by Hurts.

Thats a five yard out route. High school stuff.

Hurts throwing down there- I was scared.

Of course you were and you're hating self got your worst nightmare when he threw his second TD pass.  You're having a meltdown all game about Hurts meanwhile he's putting up a game that will be used in his MVP argument.

I don’t think I have ever seen a 34 point game in the mid third quarter but felt so conflicted

Rasul is going to get the Sean Considine award.

Rasul actually made some plays in his career. I don't know how/why Considine was ever considered NFL talent. Oh thats right, he played next to Bob Sanders in college.

@eagle45 Hurts just needs to learn how to trust himself from the pocket. He’s done a BETTER job this year but still reverts back to running. I think it’s more of a trust thing. But he’s getting better, methinks.

These are throws a good high school qb can make

These same people will then act appalled later when you suggest they are Jalen Hurts Haters.

I criticize Hurts a lot for how useless he is as a passer when he leaves the pocket…but when it does happen,  I do think the bigger problem with Hurts leaving the pocket isn’t him doing it prematurely…it’s the OL failing to preserve one.

theyve not kept it clean for very long. Elite QBs are getting the ball out in the time he has.

Aside from that, to agree the OL could be better He isnt completely without pressure when he is leaving. The problem is that often times, he just needs to slide, or step up. Not run and bail.

The Offense is actually playing a F'in amazing game, 34 points in less than 3 quarters FFS.

It's these stupid correctable mistakes, that's all

We have far superior wrs and o-line

Man, I hope that helps AJ with his mentals

Meh. He grinds away for YAC and f'd up again.  That is all.  Coaches need to say go down or double hand it (like he did since).

I bet you threw many of those back in high school.

Cut Blankenship

Could've done without that, Reed

ok. fair call (not really. I dont think he lead with his helmet). But Watson with suspect hands is going to think twice about making the next play with Blankenship in the area. Ill allow it.

Absolutely.  I think the OL needs to do a better job there too.  But long term, I think the key for him is a Drew Brees style of play.

Brees was a mobile QB without a strong arm who liked to scamper around.  But he did his damage as an elite QB when he was stepping into throws from the pocket.  Brees, like Hurts, could make all the throws when stepping into them, but was very limited off balance.

Another example (And a long way down from Brees) is Kevin Kolb.  He had a nice slick, accurate release and did have some potential.  His demise came from off balance throws with an underwhelming arm.

He's a top 5 QB in the league right now and a clear 2nd in the MVP race. He's going to be named an All Pro QB this year at the very least.

Edwards with a 2nd play of the night.

Slay hurt?
