Was it an 'offsides' call?   Such a nonsense rule.   Put a real line on the field and make it that line you can't cross, like in hockey... or an imaginary stationary line like the LOS in football... the nebulous last defender when the ball is kicked nonsense is ludicrous and encourages defenders to intentionally run the wrong way at times to draw these types of calls.

Yup, seems arbitrary but I’m a not soccer purist.

Yes, someone would of tried to trade for Jenkins. Surely the Saints would grant Jenkins the right to work out for potential trade partners too.

IN FACT! Jenkins would of asked for his release already if he thought he could go play and if a team he didnt want to play for he would of stayed retired.

Theres a reason why we didnt hear Jenkins name all year is my point.

Yes and still if Jenkins did come back he'd be better than Wallace no?

As friendly as murray and kingsbury giving their guests/opponents wins everytime they come out to visit in Arizona

How was your ban friend?

Have the mods limited your participation to solely emojis?

That's too bad I so enjoy your typed words.

Welcome back bro...

I am the last person in the entire universe to defend this guy, but posting like this is clearly a reason for moderators to sanction you.

This is the week we see Devon Allen. Put him at gunner and PR. Gonna surprise like Blankenship. Wanna see some of these peeps on the practice squad before the year is out.

I support this but notPR. Devonta takes the PR snaps.

I was totally sincere in what I said, not being sarcastic at all, @4for4EaglesNest. Said one day we would be friends and the guy just grew on me and I'm just so glad to have him back...

Oh yeah for sure. But didn't think they will risk him much in a regular season tilt, unless game is on the line.

According to 32 head coaches, 32GM's, hundreds of scouts etc etc etc , no it doesnt seem like it.

Jenkins could of been had CHEAP, if not basically free and no one went after him.

Well he was retired so not sure how many teams were sniffing around

I mean until today haven't heard a peep out of him and maybe his statement was tongue in cheek and he has zero intention to come out of retirement but I still think of he did he'd be a better player than Wallace.

Part of the problem is he'd most likely be more expensive as well and I can't see too many teams willing to pay him more to be better than just k von Wallace.

That doesn't mean he isn't though, just means no one cares to find out.

I'm not a fan of Devonte at PR not even a little.

Maybe if the eagles had a PR team that actually blocked then maybe but he's so valuable on offense I'm not going to put him out there to get gang tackled by a bunch of dudes and risk injury.

Yep, in addition to being the friendliest guy in the blog, I’m also the toughest and most modest

I get this isn’t going to do anything for this year to help with special teams and RB depth but but help with special teams this offseason, if the bills cut Hines they should go after him. I thought they should’ve at the trade deadline. He has a 4.8 mil cap hit in 2023 and 0 dead money. so there’s a chance they move on and save the money. He really hasn’t done much on offense since going to Buffalo. They also have James cook and potentially bring back singletary.  i think he’s an under the radar type of guy that howie would go after assuming the bills release him. He can pass block, catch the ball and can return punts/kickoffs.

Ya Hines/Gainwell/rookie draft pick would be fine with me. Would still like to see sermon this year but seems unlikely

I imagine if buffalo releases him he'll be on siriannis radar.

If we want to add a terrible safety…

I think it's more this. The interview wasn't even today, it was before CJGJ was even hurt.

I’m guessing sermon gets a shot in the preseason next year to make the roster. Imo Scott is likely gone so they might keep him as the 4th back. I’m also not against Mattison depending on the price. I’m for it if he comes somewhat cheap I’m not against that. He’s only 24 and only has 375 carries in his career so far.

60 second stand, 4for4 is quick on the draw...

Yeah makes sense with the connection. I’m surprised with our special teams woes and pass protection from our RBs that we weren’t more aggressive in going after him at the deadline

A question for you guys? Do you guys think the 2002 Eagles would have beaten the Raiders had they reached the Super Bowl?

I think  his contract probably had more to do with it than him as a player or need.

To prevent the Eagles from helping themselves. And GM's and Jenkins feelings is a moot point. All they are doing is claiming his rights. They can simply leave him on the reserve/retired list.

If he notifies them his retirement is over what are their options?
