His performance Sunday night wasn't beyond criticism.  His passing numbers were decent.  It was his rushing that won him the award.

Saying he didn't avoid contact well and was still leaving the pocket too early was warranted.

Excellent watch.

Bad Gannon coaching + bad TJ Edwards, who had another bad game. Play Nakobe Dean.

I don't know that Nakobe Dean is the answer, he's been horrid on special teams and struggled pre season.

I like TJ Edwards but I'm s little tired of hearing how awesome he is because last week he was 3rd in tackles with 96 when it wasn't being taken into account how many of those tackles are made 4-5 yards down field and the eagles continue to get gashed in the run game.

It's not all his fault as the d line and scheme isn't keeping him clean but he's been pretty bad since Davis went down.

Having said that I've been somewhat impressed with his improvement in coverage which was a weakness of his. He's still no all pro in that sense but he's passable.

I always like prime time games. They have that big game feel, I don’t have to use Sunday Ticket and be 30 seconds behind everyone, and I’m a nite owl anyway. But I am probably in the minority on this.

@e-a-g-l-e-s eagles!, please remove Leanmean from the racist bracket.

Any chance Kawaan Baker is a Special Teams gunner?  I heard someone here say he was a kick returner but only averaged 18.7 yards per return in college and didn't return any punts.

No turnovers, two touchdown passes and 7 scoring drives out of 11 total drives. Of those drives that did not result in a score one was kneeling down with a minute left, one was fumlbe by AJ Brown, one a turnover on downs on a botched snap in a QB sneak and then just one punt in the game.

Your delirious behavior towards Hurts during a game when the offense dominated and scored 40 points on the back of a historic performance by Hurts was such a joke.

I don't know that I'd say terrible I mean the back shoulder throw to Quez for the TD was a high level throw.

I'd say hurts was inconsistent throwing the ball, he left some meat on the bone.

Edwards making a ton of tackles 7 yards downfield does not make him a good run defender.

So terrible that he outplayed Rodgers.  You're going to be so miserable over the next decade with Hurts as the franchise QB.

Hurts having no tight end of late has really hurt the passing game. Offensive line hasn't exactly been stellar. End of day, offense put up 40 points and Jalen Hurts was the QB. Terrible game!!! He took what the defense gave him in the running game and didn't cough up the ball with hero ball like his predecessor.  This guy will never please certain people here even if he wins the superbowl. They will find something. I think he did plenty right to lead us to this 10-1 record. Get Goedert back and all is well. He's holding the fort for now. Take T. Kelce away from Mahomes and tell me what he does.

LB is tough to gauge via tackles.  Singleton was top 10-15 last year in tackles if I remember correctly

He outplayed the old guy with a broken thumb.  That's like saying he outplayed @mattwill.

Yup there was a post on an eagles facebook page propping up tj Edwards because he was the 3rd leading tackler in the league, and the comments were insane with people saying tj was all pro and a stud and best eagles LB, I commented that most his tackles were 4-5 yards down field and the eagles run defense was horrible, I was called a hater and picking on TJ and called and idiot, no one called me a TATEr though🤷‍♂️

Came on here a few days ago said the same got some minimal push back but I think TATE and the blog is coming around to the idea that TJ is just average.

I will not be miserable at all. I am in my glory with the 10-1 football team. I am enjoying every win and I am excited about the possibility of what this team can achieve this year. All while still being able to form an objective opinion about our individual players.

I get that this is your attempt at trying to create the image that people's criticism of Hurts is personal. In your thinly veiled attempts to assassinate character, you only succeed in assassinating logic. Think about this. Forget Hurts- I can instead say- Covey sucks as a returner. Would you seriously read that objective statement and imply that must mean I am miserable following this team? No. It completely lacks any logic at all to do that.

I can enjoy all of these wins, and the teams overall accomplishments while still forming objective assessments of each individual players performance.

I think someone already told you the other day that you are not smart. So with that out of the way, Mahomes without Kelce also wouldnt have AJ Brown, Smith, Quez, nor a running game anywhere close to what Miles Sanders is capable of producing. Hurts should not struggle with 1 weapon missing. His skill positions surrounding him are 1000 times better than what Mahomes has this year.

Reverse it. Put Hurts in that Chiefs offense with just Kelce and Smith-Schuster as his best wide receiver, and not a great running game. His record would be nowhere near as good as what Mahomes has carried that team to.

You are smart! I am wrong. End of conversation. You idiots crack me up with your BS narratives. The guy is winning games and making winning plays. Up to now. Period

yes. And no one has said otherwise.

That's a lie.  It was very obvious from your posts throughout the game that you were not at all enjoying it.  You were acting as if the Eagles were getting blown out with a completely ineffective offense.  It was like bizzaro world in this thread during the thread with you being one of the biggest offenders.

There is nothing objective about your opinion on Hurts.  You've been a huge hater of his.  You were seriously believing that Carson Strong would replace Hurts at some point this season or at the very least after this season. You had a complete meltdown during the game when Hurts and the offense dominated on the way to 40 points.

I think Hurts would be productive in Chiefs without T. Kelce. And hold the fort. Just like he is doing here. He's a playmaker. Of course not at Mahomes level. But right under that level. I like Pacheco. The KC wide receivers all fill a role and are competent. Nothing amazing but competent. They do it in numbers. You are overrating the Eagles WRs a smidge. And they have better backup tight ends hy far. EOD, he's a winner and would make it work.

Why is it OK to criticize some players, but not Hurts? Why is he above any criticism at all?

Here's an objective assessment to ponder:

@HazletonEagle is a crap poster.  He knows little to nothing about anything sports related, yet somehow thinks his thoughts and opinions on such matters are considered/respected.  He took out loans that he was unable to pay off, instead allowing other taxpayers do it for him.  He tries to pass off criticism off Hurts as trolling at times, though we all know that he isn't smart enough to be an effective troll.  And finally, his dog has worms.

I don't see it happening but if given the chance in the upcoming draft would you go with Noah Sewell or Trenton Simpson?

To me Hurts is still showing promise but he has reverted to the old Hurts somewhat. We'll see how he does when he goes up against a few more winning teams. Seems like the tougher the competition the more he wants to use his legs, and of course D.G. being out doesn't help.

Oh and I see you all let the trolls run wild in here now.
