Not on my radar either.

Its a lie down with dogs you get up with fleas thing.  Personal injury lawyers are mainstream producers of fleas.

A look at our offensive line.

One interesting note was near the end where Mailata realizes there was a blown block and makes an adjustment to turn a loss into a decent gain. Also, this could be a "Kelce should be in the hof" hype video. He was sooooo good in this game.

What's amazing is they have a backup center who can actually do most of what Kelce does with an extra 10-15 lbs.

Jurgens in pre-season looked like Kelce Jr.

Question is do they extend Seumalo? And where does the money come from? Do they let Sanders walk?

What about CGJ and Epps?

Hurts isn't the first running QB and history has shown that if a QB can't be effective from the pocket as well he's not winning a super bowl.

What made a guy like Steve young so dangerous was he was deadly accurate from the pocket and that was a skill that he worked on.

He wasn't a great passer at BYU nor early in the NFL but Walsh saw something in him And worked on his footwork in the pocket to the point young was a true dual threat QB.

Hurts has shown flashes in the pass game, that dime to Quez for the TD was a high level timing throw, he's made some impressive drop in the bucket throws so he's showed he can do that now he just needs to do it consistently

The one thing that will limit Jalen as a passer is his arm, he doesn't have a cannon for an arm, he can't drive the ball down field or into tight windows, Steve young had a pretty good arm, having said that I think jalens incremental improvements in mechanics have seemed to given him a little more zip on his passes, still not a cannon but seems a bit more than last year.

Anyway playoff time will be big for him, the BUCS last year highlighted all of hurts flaws as a passer and totally embarrassed him and the eagles, I'm hoping he has a better showing this playoff run.

Steve Young also had a season high rush total of 76.

Normally I don't either.  But if they're not going to spy him and give him 10-15 yards a clip like that?  Take it and don't think twice.  It would be a different story if it was Hurts taking off for 5 yards at a time when AJ and Devonta are open 20 yards downfield.

What I absolutely don't like is how often Hurts is being piledriven forward on 4th and short.  Otherwise he's doing okay not taking big shots - he's doing really well protecting himself.

He took at least 4 big shots against GB.  One hurt him pretty good too.

It will be interesting to see how they handle the Dline situation, Suh and Joeseph, when Davis is back fully. I would guess we keep them, but trying to fit everyone into the 53, someones got to go somewhere.

All three are expendable in order to make room for Goedert, Davis and Maddox

Reading a bit more, I'm done back tracking todays posts.  Hi @greend.

I personally would drop Covey, Wallace (if CGJ recovery is brief) and probably Robinson, who can most likely be stashed on PS.  Wouldn't object to Bradley or one of the Johnsons if need be.

Jackson probably before Book.  Less likely to be picked up.

Robinson is on IR.  LB is light at 7 and Patrick Johnson is backup SAM and emergency DE.  Frankly, his SAM snaps are probably 95% DE.

He also had a FB so rushes were split three ways.  He also threw a lot of passes to his running backs.

Technically correct, but they started his practice window 2ish weeks ago. I think they only have 7 days left to do something with him

Sanders walks. Draft bijan or Gibbs and have a stud rook

Seumalo won't cost big money, so keeping him for three more years seems doable. I think their three big money free agents - CGJ, Bradberry and Hargrave - are the tough decisions. All the other free agents are not going to be super pricey.

I would let Sanders walk. But if they keep him, it won't cost too much. Three years, $21 million (same as James Connor) seems reasonable.

Ya, but Hurts will also hit double that number this weekend, in 3/4 of the games.  That was Young's highest amount of rushes in a season.   I'm just trying to point out the 'well there was Steve Young' argument is not valid.  I will say that given the weapons Young had at his disposal, that's astronomical...which makes 129 (I think for Hurts this year so far) what?

Cut him and offer him a PS job.  I think we both agree that @jojodancer’s suggestion of cutting him for a roster spot doesn’t work. (Why does that handle make me think the big hair bow teenager dancer is posting here now?)

Doubt there are any stats for it but I doubt Young did many QB sneaks.  Just give it to Rathman. For the Eagles, Hurts is the closest player they have to Rathman’s size.

You guys remember a game between our teams back in 1994 where you guys beat us 13-7. I think you guys had a goal line stand to win the game? This was at the Vet in Philly.
