Hurts doesn't have to carry this team, he has to make the plays he should make, and a half dozen times a game, use his legs to make key 1st downs and keep the defense on edge.

No 40 yard deep outs across his body, no 60 yard laser throws, just hit the open man and throw the ball away or run for positive yards when there's nothing there.

I don't want ESPN highlight plays, I want cool, consistent efficiency.

Now, will we get that? Well, that's why they play the games, or Vegas could just pay out  the bets and skip the season.

I kind of think he was signed as CGJ insurance in case it didn’t look like CGJ could move to S and they have seen enough to let Harris know he isn’t in their plans as anything other than a PS player.

Have to pay him three weeks, not keep.  But most teams won’t want to pay a vested player salary of three weeks for a short period so virtually the same.

Actually, I wonder if it is an Eagles ploy against an offset on the guarantee they gave Harrris to sign.  With Howie, anything is possible.  After all, he is the most distrusted GM by agents.

The best gift they ever gave us was in 2018 when they gave us commemorative playoff and Super Bowl tickets from the previous year. I made four separate framed items out of them. I have mine hanging on a wall in the basement. Usually they give us crap. This year was probably the worst. I still don’t even know what that little squishy thing is supposed to be, but I’m sure it cost them less than a nickel to make.

 They usually send me 2 or 3 surveys a year ear on a different topics. The gift was actually part of my survey this year. I gave him a 0 out of 10 and put my comments that they're totally crap

Trubiskey is a case in point. Tua as well. Even Andrew Luck, a wonderful talent,  was stymied by a sh!tty O line and lack of continuity coaching. We know how that worked out.

The State of the Team they land on is all important. Drafting a QB is the easy part. Some are NFL ready, but not most. Mentoring, teaching, tweaking technique and mechanics falls to coaching. 

...and don't let em get killed every time they drop back...
