Have the Eagles seriously had 5 one-possession games?  Doesn't feel like it.

I tend to put players into tiers and then choose for need/scheme fit.  So, Anderson/Carter are top tier, A+, I wouldn't tradeback if available.  Then it's possible that you have a half dozen players with an A grade, who I'd select from if those top guys are gone (e.g., Murphy, Bresee); but this also gives you a framework for how far you'd be willing to tradeback without getting too far from BPA.

Agreed in principle.  I have the following work in process thoughts on tiers.  What say you?

The A+ tier = Anderson, Carter, Stroud, Young

The A tier = Skoronski, Bijan Robinson, Murphy

The A- tier = Bresee, Joey Porter, Kelee Ringo, Christian Gonzalez, Paris Johnson, Will Levis

He had a bad game on Arizona, and wasn't that great in the most recent Washington game

When a QBR of 89.9 with no interceptions, or a QBR of 94.2 with one interception is a "bad game" I think the person using that evaluation criteria is more than a bit pessimistic.

Some were backdoors like Lions, Jaguars, Packers.

Two were legit in Cardinals, Colts.

Do these include the one-score games where the trailing team kicks a FG to get to within 8 points and needs to recover an onside kick with 25 seconds left in the game?

Potentially good news

I would keep him out regardless the next couple weeks vs the Giants and Bears.  Rather have him ready for Dallas then to have him play vs teams we don't really need him and reaggrevates his injury.

Surprised that the site filter let you put backdoors and Packers in the same sentence.

I counted it out the other day.

Dillard, Davis, Maddox, Robinson

Still to come: Goedert, CJGJ, Quinn

They would have 1 more

Tyree Jackson off of PUP?  Doesn't he count?

Quite the discovery during an exploratory.

@ManuManu @HazletonEagle  How common is it that an ACL wouldn't be identified upon initial physical exam and then be found via surgery unexpectedly.

I've not really ever heard of this.  My only guess would be that they knew it was partially torn and when they saw it they decided it wasn't viable and really no different than a complete tear so they repaired it.

No. PUP and IR are separate.

I’m assuming he’s going by 1 score games on the final score.

I couldn’t say. Not something I’ve ever encountered.

They had 2 backdoor covers (Jags, Packers) that scored in the final minute or 2 that didn't mean anything.

The only 1 score games that felt like coin-flips that we won were Detroit & Indy. We led the Cards game from start to finish.

The Cardinals missed a FG that would have sent it to OT after spiking the ball because they thought it was first down. It was definitely a coin flip.

Eh. We would have beaten them in OT.

They were tied with the Cardinals within the 2 minute warning. It was absolutely a coin flip.

The Cards game was tied when Dicker put us ahead.  It was the most coin-flippish of our games this year.

I'd argue Colts was the most, but its splitting hairs.

Maybe.  I see the Cards game as two teams playing at the same level that decide the game in the final moments.

To me, the Indy game was "Will the Eagles' offense get their ish together before time runs out."

We were at 70% most of the game. We were at 69% when Murray spiked it.

Game might not have gone to overtime if Murray wasn’t an idiot and went down where he did. Then spiking the ball on 3rd down thinking it was first.

They missed a FG to force OT late. Don’t overthink it.
