Cowboys are in trouble now

Texans may play the cowpads tougher than expected.  They do have Dameon Pierce and the cowpads can be run on.  That said, bad QB/WR mix and they can’t play defense.

I don’t see the formula as being any better than IND, the defense is worse.

Talk about an exit

Edwards for being a run stuffer, I think his play is a bit overvalued.

Someone will clearly overpay for him

Edwards is solid but he's a glorified Alex Singleton if we're being honest.  He piles up tackles but how many are game changing, TFL or impact plays?  He has 7 TFL for the year.  Dean flashed more in his 15 snaps then Edwards has all year.  Not taking anything away from Edwards as he has been solid, just nothing special at all.  Also not crowning Dean after 15 snaps.  Was nice to see him flash and use his instincts however.

I expect Dean to be a starter next year.  It's a wash for me right now on White and Edwards.  Both are 26 and I don't expect either to break the bank.  Would love to add a legit playmaker in the draft.

Edit: I actually have no idea what this tweet even means upon further inspection. He says top 10, but then lists 12 players. There's 2 4th's, 2 5th's, and 2 6th's.

Well I’m Jewish so earlier Chinese food reservations

I’m not but my family seems to think Chinese food too. (Has to be Christmas Eve because the local Chinese restaurant isn’t open on Christmas Day.)  We just go to the movies on Christmas Day.

Why is this necessary?  So you had a great season and aren't transferring...in other terms everything is normal.  Why announce it?

@BigEFly

My quick research came up with Trent Williams over Lane. Sauce Gardner and Tariq Woolen + someone else is over Slay/Bradberry

Two talented young CBs but not better than Slay at this point.  Lane is better than Trent.

Lol it's a tweet. Not like he had a press conference or anything

Hurts at 4 and Slay at 4 are egregious. Who's above Hurts this year other than Mahomes? They have Allen and Tua? Ehhh...

Was listening to Rueb’s podcast and they were debating the Eagles’ defensive MVP. His pick was TJ Edwards.

Seriously.

How many players would you put ahead of him? At least 4, and that’s being conservative.

That makes no sense

Still dumb IMO.

We tend to go to the movies on Xmas day then Chinese afterward. We’ve switched up Chinese on Xmas ever cause during the pandemic most places closed on Xmas day.

Agree with you for the most part.  However, if I were choosing on who to resign (price being equal) it would be Edwards.  Edwards is a MLB.  I think Dean with his athleticism and lack of size fits better on the outside.

Maybe there was rumors he wanted to squelch. Not to mention there has been an exorbitant  amount of players went wrong the portal the past week.  Pretty odd thing to be bothered about.

That makes sense.  Not bothered, just don't understand the need.  It's not something I'm used to I guess.

First of all, I agree that Edwards is not and cannot be that kind of player.  But I’m also not sure the defense asks that or needs that from his role.

On a defense littered with edge rushers, ball hawks, pure cover guys…playmakers…Edwards is probably the only sound, reliable wrap up tackler on the entire unit.  I think our defensive scheme is truly designed to have playmakers where we’ve already got them and to have the glue guy exactly where Edwards is.

Agree about that.  The Tannehill scramble with Edwards getting straight up dusted sticks out like a sore thumb when it comes to his limitations though.

That generation continues to just one up themselves on being soft as F

It’s an age old mistake, just playing out on social media now.

Maybe the kid is soft, maybe Leach was an insufferable jerk to him and he’s right to get the hell out.  But when you air the dirty laundry like that, you are automatically the a-hole.

You twist the knife after you prove them wrong, not whine while you are running away.  Have the self control to wait.

I saw some rumor out there that Georgia was trying to poach him.

OK, that helps kind of like 4for4 mentioned.
