  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Barkley with neck pain matters more than Sermon inactive with illness.  Fans surprised the Eagles snap count Maddox.  Doesn’t matter.  Eagles contain Jones as a runner and they don’t have the passing weapons.  Hurts burns the giants pass rush with runs those few times they threaten.

Eagles 27, midget men 16

Bonus. Boston Scott reception for TD.

Sidenote. Elliott pissed that opponents get more FG shots than him is thrilled when Nick calls his number in the fourth to seal the game with two scores up.

Additional sidebar.  Disillusioned with Boston Scott, the giants can only muster one more win this season, against the Vikings although the second tie with the commode doors is probably the catalyst for that.

@LeanMeanGM.

Quez scores a TD.

It will be interesting to see if the Eagles play Scott or Blankenship at safety tomorrow. Blankenship probably has played well enough to keep his job, but the team may prefer Scott because his coverage skills makes the defense more difficult to diagnose pre snap.

A tough decision for Gannon.

Touchdown Navy!

Maddox is an underrated part of the defense. Glad to see he's on the way back.

Is it that deep of a draft?

He has an obsession.

Giants offense is built around the run.  They should most definitely have Blankenship over Scott at Safety.

If you mean by wanting to the team to have picks in rounds 2-4 then yes, I'm obsessed.  I think you build the core of your team in those rounds.  If you continue to fail or skip those rounds then you have to be more creative in the FA/trade route. The Eagles have been skipping multiple rounds as of late and it's a trend I hope stops.  Doesn't have to be a deep draft to make valuable mid-round picks.  I'd argue it's more important to have those picks if it isn't deep.

Cunningham‘s legacy is holding a championship caliber defense back with lacklustre QB play and not learning the playbook

Hopefully Hurts’ legacy can be prouder

6:53-6:59 is great. Whole vid is pretty good. Little behind the scenes making the album

Honestly, as much I loved Jason Peters (who has best O-lineman in Eagles history imo), this nucleolus of Eagles O-lineman is my favourite - Mailta/Dickerson/Kelce/Lane.

And it begins. Hurts will no doubt get PAID. We're in a better position than most teams who have to pay young QBs due to our extra draft capital.

Let's hope Howie next few drafts are like his last two, and not like the last 2 before them.

What extra draft capital? We have a 1 but few mid round picks

An extra 1 this year, an extra 2nd next year. 6 picks in the first two rounds over the next two drafts.

If Howie nails those, we are set.

We rarely pick in the top-ten.  Stay there and get blue-chip talent.

Options for more mid round picks include using their own pick at the end of the first.

Also, we have a bunch of quality free agents pending - Bradberry, Hargrave, Sanders, Seumalo, CJGJ, White, etc.  Some we'll keep.  The rest will sign elsewhere and present opportunities for 2024 comp picks.  Knowing this (FA happens before the draft), I could see Howie using his 2024 mid-round picks to acquire 2023 mid-round picks during the draft; counting on comp picks to backfill in 2024.

Just trust in Howie, if there's one thing he excels at, it's getting value in draft day trades.

It'll come down to who is on the board, how the scouts rate them, and what he's offered.

We're going to have lots of mid-round 2024 comp picks too.
