I assume it must have been with the fever that high. Did a covid test at home which was negative.

Blame @FranklinFldEBUpper  he obviously brought the virus in here and you got too close to him.

Seriously, though, his seemed to hang around a while.  Hopefully he is better and yours doesn’t last that long.

Ridder can sling it and run. He has nothing to lose so may as well let it all hang out

I liked Ridder coming out. I don’t think he’s ever going to be an elite talent but i think he can be a solid starter. Atlanta should’ve given him more than the last 4 games of the year to see what he has to make a determination on him being the starter next year. I’m guessing they wanted to wait til he knew the playbook well enough and it’s an easier transition coming off the bye. However they weren’t going anywhere with mariota anyway so they should’ve let him play more than just this last month and see if he got better week to week.

Why is that ??

I agree with your overall take, but I think TO was slightly better than Brown. But it’s close

I think Brown uses his late arm extension like TO used body control. Slight edge to Brown on drops.

Cause he was on my fantasy team until two weeks ago….

The beats talk about Britain always is smiling.  Suspect she contributes to that plus she is strong enough to dance with a 176 lb man in her arms.  Those are some strong leg muscles.

I don't think hes underused, he and AJ brown have the same amount of receptions I think at times he's misused, drives me nuts when they throw those WR screens to him or 2 yard passes, get him down field.

NFC East has 8 games left out of division.

If they win 4 of those, they end the season with the highest winning % of any division ever.

@olsilverhair decorated his place very nicely

I do think we should be seeing more crossing routes over the middle of the field with Devonta

DeVonta Smith has possibly only 3 games left (if starters rest week 18) to reach 1000 yards. He needs 225 yards. It would require him to have the biggest 3 game stretch of the season since weeks 2-4. In weeks 2, 3, and 4 he accumulated that many yards aided by his 169 yard performance.

Seems very unlikely.

Depends on if we win Xmas eve. We may be playing for a bye week 18.

As much as I detested TO and the way he destroyed the locker room, the dude was supremely talented and was a better WR than AJ Brown is. Just a dominant force that was such a nightmare for defenses to contend with. Brown is no slouch, and can give defensive coordinators fits too, but not quite on the level that TO was. But because I hated TO so much, if someone insists that it's much closer than I'm implying, I won't argue too much with that, because F TO.

My second round of medicine seemed to do the trick. Started feeling pretty good by this past Saturday. I’m probably at 98% now. Overall, it was about a three week venture from when I started feeling it til when the dramatic improvement began.

Sad. Being a coach at that level has to be so stressful and unhealthy

I got to interview him a few times in my old journalism days. One year Texas Tech was bad and he was doing his turn on the Big 12 coaches telecast. No one asked him any questions so he decided to talk about his favorite chicken place in Lubbock. He probably spoke for about 5 minutes talking about why they had the breading.

He was pretty fun to follow.

Sucks to hear.

Wasn't there a player who just transferred that was kinda bashing Leach on his way out?  Probably doesn't look too good now.

Dillon Johnson is the player.  Here's what he said regarding Leach. "With that being said, since I am not very tough, and Leach is glad I’m leaving, I will be entering my name into the transfer portal.”

Playing sixteen games against the AFC South kinda helps.

Like 2% milk, but with wind.

Yeah. wasn’t a good look for the kid to begin with. Looks worse after the fact. Lean and I discussed that yesterday.

It was a bit immature of him to air his grievance publicly.  I don't think it looks worse on him now than before though.  If he doubles down on it now, then it would be worse.

Somewhere between being a Texans fan and a lions fan.

Ha it wasnt directed at you although I do seem to recall you saying RB 1 and Swag quite a bit.

About 90% of the blog refused to even entertain the idea that a player like Hurts could improve to be a decent starting QB.  Then there was a month long discussion about Hurts squatting pre snap Crouching Tiger, Hidden Squirts.  That was some hard hitting analysis right there lol.

All I ever said that is with his work ethic and leadership skills that he had a chance of improving especially with an improved roster around him.

He was crouching on the pre snap and he stopped that this year.  Frankly, his reading has improved considerably and across the entire field.  I think his stance pre snap has helped.  Suspect either the offseason coaching or Brian Johnson (or both) probably worked on that with him.  Every little bit helps.  The coaches are getting the plays in quicker which has improved their use of motion.  I had doubts that Hurts could improve his reads but he has.  I suspect the presnap adjustments, both his and the coaches, went a long way towards that.

Yeah but he clearly couldn’t predict this. I think it’s wrong to hold that against him.
