I don't. I think it's likely the Eagles play it safe and don't start him the next two games, and if the division is clinched, he doesn't start the last game either, and they know it.

They don't need Hollywood drama and Hurts doesn't have to prove anything. They don't even need to win. It would be foolish on so many levels to put him out there hurt.

Bingo. I wouldn't put it past the Cowboys to have a goon take a 15 yarder to drill Hurts hard and drive his shoulder into the turf again. If they can injure Hurts even more, they will take that over the hail mary of getting the #1 seed.

I think this plays into mahomes is gonna go bananas the last 3 weeks and a chance hurts misses the next two. The Seahawks defense is really bad. I wouldn’t be shocked if mahomes goes for like 350+ and 4tds. Then has broncos at home and Vegas week 18. Meanwhile if minshew plays well and the eagles win voters will use that against hurts. Although could work in his favor if minshew looks like crap.

Also, the part that is good about this is Hurts now understands he isn't Superman and needs to be more careful. If they lose this weekend he'll understand even more so that he needs to be careful because of how valuable he is. The coaches should also learn a lesson that they need to protect him more by running the ball. This is going to be alright.

Well, if they beat the Cowboys with the Stash give him the Saints game and let him take some reps against the Giants. We totally agree the smart move is to rest him, but the smart move is also to make it seem like he may play, so they have to plan for both. 

People seem to be way too excited for Minshew to play. Hurts has been outstanding this year.

Maybe if it was just Mahomes/Hurts swapping being the favorite, but from Hurts to drop from favorite to behind Mahomes, Burrow AND Allen? Make's it seem like we won't be seeing much for the rest of the regular season.
