I hope so. Definitely more promising than direcTV but I'll believe it when I see it.  I have a Google phone so I'm wondering if that'll come with any perks.

They covered the greens at my courses yesterday afternoon until like Tuesday of next week.  WTF!!!  I didn't move to the south, only to be stuck in doors during the holidays.  I could go cut wood down behind my house, but I'm supposed to be "relaxing" after having that thing cut out of my leg.  

 

How much snow are you supposed to get?

A dusting of snow tonight, and then a couple inches late tomorrow after the heat wave warms us up to 16 degrees.

Then next week we will be back to the mid 40's with rain.

I have Google Fi and got a year of YouTube Prime for free so could be another way they entice people over to Google.

I imagine that's part of their plan. Someone pointed out the other day how much google would have to charge per customer to break even given the expected price tag and it's pretty high. So I assume getting people to switch to Google Fi, Nest, Pixel, TV etc is another major factor in their decision.

One of our city golf courses is converted into a disc golf course in winter. I get out before those loser hippies and let my dog run around the course. It’s even better with snow, then I have no guilt about the greens

My buddies in laws are flying in from Thunder Bay.

Supposed to be -30c with windchill, (-22F), with 8 inches of snow. And that’s not out of the ordinary for them.

You get used to cold. I run super hot, and you learn to ride the line…so if I’m out on hike, I’ll wear only a fleece hoodie and toque, and within about 5 minutes it’s the perfect combo. And that’s in like -10c weather (guessing the teens for you ‘Mericans)

I play disc golf and I shower every day.
