I care. This board has been lacking in incredibly bad takes recently

That's because Blankenship took them away... artistically.

Yes he would, if he wanted to be in NYC on the east coast with all that comes with the endorsements of playing in NYC.  Not to mention the taxes in CA alone.    I thought you said Correa was worth a lot more than Turner.  Which is it?

There's not a single report indicating that happened. It's just something you made up. Correa knows better to cling himself to a bunch of losers unless it was the only option on the table.

They were way overpaid no one even offered close to the money they got. The Giants offered more than the Mets. He wouldn't turn down more money to go to a worse organization.

The Yankees are the NY team players try to force their way to. Not the Mets lol. LOLMets is a meme for a reason.

What about all these players ??  Just face it, you have possibly made the worst take of the year.

Yeah, Cespedes, Bartolo Colon, Cliff Floyd, Granderson, Pedro Martinez, Bonilla, Ventura, Glavine, Wagner, Dickey, Beltran and Piazza did not willingly choose to sign with the Mets @Sack that QB

Someone brought up Jordan Davis the other day. It's kind of weird he lost his starting job as the Nose Tackle to Linval Joseph and has mostly been playing next to Joseph since he came back. Is the reasoning of using him this way injury related? Joseph had a good first game but hasn't seemed to be doing much since.

It might've been me. He's disappointed at least a bit even before the injury. To me, he's one of those guys who is still adjusting to the NFL. He was so used to winning matchups in college with pure size and athleticism. He'll benefit greatly from having some NFL experience and getting his frame just right, too. He'll be better, he just needs the work.

Says the guy who states that no one offered more than what he got from the Mets.  Well, except for the team who did offer him more than what he got.

And he failed the physical so they pulled the offer. Which leaves the Mets as the only mega offer on the table. Not sure if you're trolling or purposefully being obtuse.

Whaaaaaaaaat ??  Patrick Mahomes works hard on his game, say it isn't so.

He’s obviously a scum ball.

Carlos Javier Correa Oppenheimer Jr. (born September 22, 1994) is a Puerto Rican professional baseball shortstop who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Houston Astros, who selected him first overall in the 2012 MLB draft, and for the Minnesota Twins.

Purposely being obtuse is claiming that the Giants are so well run that they changed gears on a massive investment over a failed physical.  So wait, the Mets don’t have doctors?   What do you think it was?  He’s missing a femur?

Come on man.  Think.

He wants to win and stuff.

The Giants are the team that nixed the deal though. There's no indication the deal fell apart because of reluctance from Correa's camp. All reports say they wanted to get the deal done, but the Giants cancelled last minute.

Anyway, F the Mets.

My memory of that series 10-15 years from now will probably be that they got no-hit, at home, up 2-1 in the World Series with a chance to take a stranglehold.

Yeah. Very damaging to what could have been an legendary performance for Harper. But it was all for nothing. Itll be largely forgotten by everyone but some philly fans.

we should know before kickoff if we clinch or not if the Vikings lose right

Which one of his multiple wives is to blame?🤔

Clinch what?  If the Eagles lose out and DAL wins out, the Eagles are the #5 seed in the NFC.

Cowboys also need a loss for us to clinch HFA.

The problem with this is that hes going to be a question mark going into next season. We wont know exactly what to expect out of Jordan Davis as far as his snap count and play making ability. All of this is pretty important considering we are more than likely going to make some huge investments (like Davis) to the Dline this offseason in FA and draft.

You answered your own question.  They would lose head to head tie breaker.

It might be possible that there could be a 3 way tie with the Falcons with each team sweeping one and getting swept by the other. I’m not sure who gets in then.

9 minutes ago, 4for4EaglesNest said:

Because he "failed a physical”.  They backed away from a franchise changing deal because of a physical that another franchise didn’t catch?   You don’t really buy that, do you?

Well duh, F the Mets

I think the Giants are more conservative and risk averse regarding their organizational approach to investing in guys with injury concerns than the Mets are. If it was a 5 year deal the Giants probably don't back out, but it wasn't.

Falcons currently being 1-4 in the division takes that off the table.

No because if we lose out and Cowboys win out then the Cowboys get the division and the #1 seed.

No

It will be fine. He'll gain 20 pounds of muscle and be in the best shape of his life the week before TC starts.

And San Fran if you want to go the route of what happens if the Eagles lose out.

That's not true.   Eagles lose out, Vikings drop one, Cowboys win out and 49ers win out... #1 seed goes to 49ers.

All 4 teams would be 13-4.
