we should know before kickoff if we clinch or not if the Vikings lose right

If the Vikings lose they are no longer eligible for #1 seed.

But the cowboys are still alive with 3 games to go; needing to win out and eagles lose out.

30 crazy days til the Divisional Playoffs

That's not true.   Eagles lose out, Vikings drop one, Cowboys win out and 49ers win out... #1 seed goes to 49ers.

All 4 teams would be 13-4.

Point of the story though is that will not know their destiny heading into the Cowboys game if the Vikings lose.

Ever land on your shoulder with all your weight and someone else’s?  Happened to me playing basketball at 16. Really just a bruise with a bit of stretch to my muscle. No ligament damage. Stiff for a few days but sore a couple weeks. The soreness went away with Advil. Given what happened to Hurts, I suspect that is what he is dealing with. No reason for him to throw in the walkthrough.  Nor "practice” tomorrow.  Not betting against him playing Saturday. My guess is  that it is a future game decision more than anything.

@LeanMeanGM My game prediction has to wait until the final injury report to know whether t predict a score where the Eagles have 315 points on Saturday so the predictions that Minshew would pass for more TDs that Hurts come to fruition.

Smart thinking. Tyree Jackson being Out is a game changer.

How will the team recover?!   We are doomed.

I really haven't been keeping track but I assume Michael Thomas is injured.  Haven't heard anything about him and not too long ago he was considered as maybe the best WR in football.  What a waste of talent.

If Sammy Watkins injuries and DJ's injuries had a love child it would be Michael Thomas. He has hobbled through parts of 10 games in 3 years. He played occasionally in the first 3 games this season then they pretended he might get better before IR on November 18th.

The problem with this is that hes going to be a question mark going into next season. We wont know exactly what to expect out of Jordan Davis as far as his snap count and play making ability. All of this is pretty important considering we are more than likely going to make some huge investments (like Davis) to the Dline this offseason in FA and draft.

He will be a question mark for us fans, but I can’t imagine he will be a question mark for the coaching staff or Howie.  We simply need to go into grasshopper mode and exhibit a modicum of patience.

And he failed the physical so they pulled the offer. Which leaves the Mets as the only mega offer on the table. Not sure if you're trolling or purposefully being obtuse.

There was no offer from the Mets on the table.  Boros went into hyperdrive when he first heard about the medical concerns and contacted the Mets’ owner, who was happy to oblige with the creation of an offer.

That is what is being reported on the SF talk radio programs.  They had a reporter from Sports Illustrated on yesterday who had discussed the events with Boros.

This joke works way less when we are leading the nfl in sacks and have a legit to 3 defense.

@LeanMeanGM

Minshew isn’t a threat to run nor does he escape the rush like Hurts can but he can pass.  With Parsons being sick all week, he is weak and not his usual pass rush threat.  Dak is good for interceptions. Tempted for my bonus to be Maddox with an interception but even though I believe that will happen, that’s not what I am going for.  Boobie and the giant killer provide serious rushing yards for the Eagles.  Concerned about Pascal clearing concussion protocol.  Unfortunately the game just isn’t long enough for Minshew to surpass Hurts TD numbers, but he tries.

Eagles 48 💩s 13

Bonus: Lacking Hurts for the QB sneak with the ball on the 1 with goal to go, Nick pulls out that funky lineup with Jurgens but Cam stays at C and Kelce drops back behind him, takes the snap and scores. Cowpads have no answer for Fat Batman despite his having notified the ref he was eligible.

Purposely being obtuse is claiming that the Giants are so well run that they changed gears on a massive investment over a failed physical.  So wait, the Mets don’t have doctors?   What do you think it was?  He’s missing a femur?

The difference between the Mets owner (the richest owner in baseball) and the Giants ownership group is that if the Mets are wrong about the medical issues they simply shrug their shoulders and write the $300+ million off as a "bad bet” and move on.  The loss of $300 million is a rounding error for The Mets’ owner.  The Giants’ ownership doesn’t have that kind of financial flexibility.  $300 million would be a real and significant loss for them.

Sorry if this was already posted

Correa took a pay cut and was signed by a guy who is spending money like Leonard Toes at a casino.  Correa did not want to be in Minnesota last year (they were desperate). He and his agent took this deal in desperation as well. 29 of 30 MLB FO's passed on him the last 2 years for good reason.

Correa is one of the worst injury risks in baseball. He's a very good player who is injured all the time.

SF has 3 WS in the last 13 years but Dunning Kruger types know better. 💩

Dont worry, I here now

We got a Hasty sighting!

Hmmm.  Lawrence had a bit of a concussed attempt to get up.

How does team statistics make a joke work less when we’re talking about an individual player?

I think we all wanted to see more of Jordan Davis this year. I really like that he is there for things like playing him at DE in a must stop short yardage or goal line situation. That's a lot of humanity they can put put up front with this lineup. He's also depth if needed who at worst will be a space eater.

6 minutes ago, 4for4EaglesNest said:

Remember a few weeks back how our run defense suffered because Davis was out due to injury?   Now we hardly notice when he’s on the field, which isn’t often.

Yeah I think if you were to tell the critics of the Davis pick that he would only have x amount of snaps, get hurt and miss 4 games, and you hardly notice him when hes out there on the field....that was basically their worst nightmare.

Im not saying hes a bust or anything but I think its something to keep in mind going into next season. How much are we really going to depend on Jordan Davis coming into his own next season?

Just now, 4for4EaglesNest said:

We’re going to have to depend on him a lot.  1st round pick.  He had to be the man in the middle next year.

Exactly. I was going to respond to skippys post and what he said...like... thats not a good thing lol. A goaline player and depth person as a 1st round pick and what theyre paying him? He needs to show more, a lot more.

@downundermike and @LeanMeanGM I was wrong. There was never a decent chance Hurts would play on Saturday.

Good. now 10 lashings per limb.

Our run D with Davis was better, in a small sample, but still not good.

Its possible he still had much to learn. And now that Linvall is here and playing well, we dont have to rely on the rookie so much.

Yes, it would be better if the guy was dominating from day 1 and impossible to keep off the field.

But this is far from the end of this story. He will have more opportunities next year. An offseason to get in better shape. Get even stronger. And learn more to become even more sound.  Id still expect huge things from him next year.
