Defense was trash today

I don't trust Gannon. I know the last few weeks they've been impressive but I just don't trust the dude in very big spots or  against an upper tier offense.

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Gannon is f'ing trash.  This defense is stacked and this dip ish gets out coached every game.

We'll know before the Eagles play on Sunday if they need the Saints game for the NFC East since Dallas plays Thursday night.

Crush them for the pick anyway then take the giants game off

that’s looking to be a hell of a game

I am most disappointed in Watkins. I thought he could become a good player for us, but he is just too soft.

And what's up with Slay?

Can we just call him Quez Pinkston?

Quite the game. The Cowboys needed 4 turnovers, a Hail Mary 3rd and 30 play, and a couple other get out of jail plays and still had to hold their breath to beat a Minshew led Eagles playing their 3rd straight away game.

As long as Lane isn’t seriously injured than I’m good with this one despite the fact that we let them off the hook. Always super tough to beat the same team three times in one year and we will be at home next time.

Yup. They had to thread the needle all game and rely on 4 turnovers to win.  A little perspective perhaps.

And happy Christmas Bloggers.

Ok the Minshew Mania stuff was cute,  it need to get our QB back and lock up the 1 seed.

I thought Gardner was terrible. But in all fairness, that was an embarrassing display of football by the Birds. Terrible coaching and terrible execution.

The Cowboys were better on both sides of the football.

Quarters would make far more sense

but if the dbs are undisciplined what can he do?

Exactly why you play man underneath and sit two back deep. Make Dak search for a mismatch and force him to drop in a tough throw between the safeties. At that distance, there's gonna be 2 DBs near the ball no matter where he throws it. With quarters, you can still get caught flat-footed with a single point of failure in the secondary.

It's pretty obvious that talent has covered his deficiencies. It sucks that CGJ and Maddox are out but when he has to design the defense to cover up some injuries we can't stop crap.

Sticks coverage has about six guys deep. The throw doesn’t get attempted.

Really?   What else are you sure of?

This pretty much confirms that we need to sign CGJ though. Without good safety play our pass defense turns to trash. Doesn't matter how good Bradberry and Slay are.

He has phenomenal disruptive presence that can turn games. He needs to be the main priority to tie down along with Javon. I wanted White signed on too earlier in the season but less certain about that now.

Some positive points. Mailata held his own and while he got some help he was often solo against Micah. Run D was excellent. Minshew is solid and there if we need him. Top two WRs are great. Goedert is back and played well. Sanders ran hard though he did have the big fumble. It wasn’t all bad by any stretch. This one will be in the rear view mirror by Tuesday. Come home and take care of business against the Saints.

How many of those came off Turnovers by the O?

Like I said, only Gannon could make Dak look like an NFL QB

Saints aren’t completely out of it yet. 6-9. Tampa is 6-8 and Carolina 6-8. The saints win out and Carolina and Az beat tampa they can win the division.

Those Saints are playing very good right now. Next week is no gimme especially with all our injuries.

Does that mean the Titans have nothing to play for on Thurs night? Really hope they don't sit their starters if that's the case.

Josiah Scott played that 3rd and 30 terribly. That's what happens when you're down to your third safety option. Credit to Dallas there for taking advantage. Gannon probably should have been in 2-man there with guys 20 yards off the LOS.

I think 17. Possibly 20.

Still. 100% completion in zone is....really bad.

I’m sure you won’t criticize Gannon for even the most obvious gaffes.

Guess Dak and the Cowboys aren't as bad as we like to tell ourselves . He's now 8-3 vs us.

Didn’t even think of that but yes, I believe it does.
