This has to be the floor for the Eagles DL, amirite? There's no way they can play as poorly as they did going forward.

And I guess from what I've been reading here, Detroit has built a Top 5 -10 OL. Eagles will face inferior OLs in the coming weeks.

You can not trade players that you do not have under contract.

I mean that's got to be the hope that they can only get better from here. But it needs to be much much better.

And this is exactly why they hired a guy like Sirianni and Steichen. They needed coaches who would be willing to be forced to run a certain style of offense.

Based on the last 2 games they played, it could seem that way.   If this is still the case by half the season, then I would be more concerned than I am now.  Adjustments need to be made for teams stacking the box/pressuring/ blitzing on passing downs.  If they can get past that, we should see better results in the passing game, imo.

I don't think they are the best.

I thought it was interesting how they're saying Lions have a top Oline when just the day before they said Eagles Dline would feast lol

They have to do something.  If they roll out Cooper Rush, they are looking at a possible 0-6 start.

I dont think people here really know much about the Lions. Who here honestly follows what the Lions are doing?

People probably thought we would roll right over them, then heard the broadcast say it might be the best OL in the NFL. Then changed their tune.

 

I didnt know they had a top OL. But I also didnt expect our DL to feast. I dont know when blog people will learn their lesson because you see this every single year. People tweet injuries to our opponents OL and talk about all the sacks we are going to get. And the eagles NEVER do well against backup OL. The feast NEVER happens. People make that same mistake over and over again.

Hurts needs to run for this offense to work, but he's got to pay more attention to the hits he's taking. I counted 17 hits that took him to the ground. That's not sustainable.

The team has no real weapons at WR.  I don't think it matters if they have Cooper Rush or some other marginally better QB.  Their only hope is being run heavy.

Kelce said they did a bad job adjusting protection because they didn't recognize some of the blitzes.

So, if they're blowing assignments, they're not the best. Looked like Jalen Hurts bailed them out repeatedly.

They need to prep better. I don't think Hurts can do this week after week.
