Agreed.  He had every opportunity to make the team, and got worse every preseason game.  That is why I am shocked they didn't give Strong at least a half in a game.  I assume most of it was due to whatever was going on behind the scenes that lead to no practice reps, but Sinnett had already shown he was not going to make it, give someone else a shot.

McNabb converted himself.  He made a concensus decision to stop fully utilizing his physical talents and it hurt his effectiveness.  But he still had those tools and used them behind the Los and it's due to those physical tools that Lurie and the Eagles liked him enough to draft. 

Lurie and the Eagles don't want a statue standing back at QB.  Every QB they have heavily invested in shows you exactly the QB they want.  There is no run first QB in the league.  It's such a stupid term because if a QB was run first he'd have more rushing attempts than passing attempts.  Doesn't happen, at least not at this level. 

Zach Wilson and Watson are both athletic guys who can move around with their legs to escape the pocket to keep a play alive and make a run if need be.
