I'd much rather CGJ at slot and Scott or Blankenship at S then Wallace. Wallace is no bueno.

I've got no concerns with CGJ in the slot, real question is Scott at NCB or K'Von Wallace at Safety. Agree with HE I don't love either, not that we have much of a choice.

Maybe Gannon just lines up with ten.

I was day dreaming the other day about how much better the UK coverage used to be and how Redzone has saved me pain of being forced to watch that charmless guff. I've met Neil Reynolds IRL and he's a good guy, but Sky's coverage makes me feel like I'm losing IQ points watching it. I am tempted to record the game on Sunday and catch up on it just to avoid their coverage.

I’m tempted to just wait until the game is unlocked on gamepass on Monday night, because it’s not a fun experience. I mean at that point I’ll have already have endured David Croft doing a bad Murray walker impression during the F1 Grand Prix earlier in the day.

I mean Kevin cadle( RIP) and nick Halling deserve huge respect for helping many people in the UK and Ireland become NFL fans. They were great together.

A long time ago, on a random Pro Bowl, Nick Halling was playing a catchphrase drinking game with some of us on the internet.  I was hammered but it was very entertaining to have that interaction.  Sky would blanche at that cheeky interaction.

Unfortunately, Fantasy Football means I can't wait till Monday. So will have tolerate Sky - funny thing is, Cadle knew sweet FA about the NFL, but it didn't matter.

Maddox is out.  According to the team website, Scott is the next man up on the depth chart.  The coaches will make the call if they are true to the structure.

Sliding CGJ to slot would be another option, a good one too.  Then they will have to play a back up S.  It would boil down to what the coaches think which option gives them the best reward/risk ratio.

Well he was a serious basketball guy and he was very successful coach.

sports studio people and commentators from my childhood both on UK sports broadcasts and here in Ireland we’re better. I mean the late Sid Widdel made darts seem exciting.

Eagles could easily sign a nickel CB to the roster since they have an open spot.  Nope, not letting go of the fact that they still don't have the 53rd spot filled.

I'm surprised that the NFL does not require a full 53 man roster.

Covey has to come up at this point, right?

When is Dillard allowed back from short-term IR?

They could but they should still just stick CGJ there.  Kirk is their best WR and they have been using him heavily in the slot.  It's not a big down the field passing offense, it's much more west coast quick passes.

Yes, I'm predicting a tie.

Wait. In the Charlotte area?  People are taking precautions like that?

I hope nobody is taking precautions like this.  But her brother is in town with his kids, and this was the perfect opportunity for all of them to come over and ransack our house for the entire weekend and eat our food and drink our alcohol.

This was mild, if that.  Moderate tbi is much more severe than what we saw.  He wouldn’t be flying home with the team either.

A general picture of best case moderate TBI: at least 24hr of barely forming words, eyes only opening to loud screaming sounds right in the ear, and barely giving a thumbs up when someone shouts at you while grinding a fist in the chest.

Seems like an insanely high bar for moderate...the brain in general is simple yet complex.  When I got knocked out by my first IED, it was about 10 seconds of unconsciousness, dizzy feeling and vomiting for a little over 24 hours, but I could talk fine and think reasonably for the circumstances by work the next day.  Though to this day I can't go to the grocery store without a list, not put my keys in their proper spot, or talk for more than about 3 mins on something without redirection or some hard thinking.

The decision has to be taken out of their hands. Some of these guys will die on the field before being taken out and replaced. It's boxer/fighter mentality. You need a third party to make that decision.

Yup, it's 100% an instilled mentality.  As I discussed above, despite being clearly concussed I hid a lot in order to go back out on the next patrol....even though my leadership was too busy trying to finesse a Purple Heart for our 1st Sgt behind the scenes for a 'scratch he got during a rocket attack'.

Mild, moderate, and severe TBI are an entirely different spectrum than the concussion debate in sports.  They have specific parameters (which will change in the upcoming years).  A moderate traumatic brain injury is a big deal and is something that sports can almost never generate.

A simple concussion that does not even resonate on the scale of TBI can cause devastating post-concussion syndrome and after effects.

The verbiage isn’t great.  Mild TBI doesn’t necessarily have problems that anyone in their right mind would describe as mild.  Moderate is pretty devastating and severe is persistently comatose on the verge of brain death.

I just got around to watching the JT O’Sullivan review of Hurts vs WAS. Very interesting analysis about the lack of hot reads built into the O… my assumption was that Hurts wasn’t making these reads particularly during the DET game, but it’s very possible they weren’t available (which is weird and will be exploited if not prepped).

I'll have to watch it later, but when the O gets hot, it's amazing play calling where the 1st read has been open for the most part.

I link TBI and concussions together a lot...I'm just a grunt lol.  They go hand in hand with a lot of us.

Def. feels like a trap game, this one has me worried, but not that worried if the Eagles play liked they did last week on D.
