I heard something today that this season Kirk has played something like 90% of his snaps from the slot either this season or last game against the Chargers.  I don't think Slay ever covered Jefferson when he was lined up in the slot that game.  It was all when Jefferson was lined up on the outside.  In the video below I only saw one instance of where Jefferson was in the slot but had Maddox over him but Slay was still on the outside and it was on the other side of the field where he usually plays.  So Slay was definitely shadowing the side of the field that Jefferson lined up on and was on him if Jefferson was outside but I don't think Slay ever lined up in the slot with Jefferson.  

Haven't watched any of the game tape though so could be completely wrong on that assumption.

Seems like an insanely high bar for moderate...the brain in general is simple yet complex.  When I got knocked out by my first IED, it was about 10 seconds of unconsciousness, dizzy feeling and vomiting for a little over 24 hours, but I could talk fine and think reasonably for the circumstances by work the next day.  Though to this day I can't go to the grocery store without a list, not put my keys in their proper spot, or talk for more than about 3 mins on something without redirection or some hard thinking.

Thanks for filling in this week.

Bit worried about Maddox being out.  Scott seems the obvious choice to fill in.  Not overly impressed with his play so far in the NFL, so a step down.  Lawrence has a real quick release. But he also has a mediocre OL.  Will try to feed Kirk, I suspect.  On D, their strength is against the Eagles strength. Odds favor the Eagles.  Will miss Scott but not much.

Bold prediction.  Press and Doug try a trick play and the Eagles diagnose it and shut it down cold.

Watched the game when they played Michigan St and he looked pretty good.  Better than he looked at Indiana.  He might have a nice career as a backup in the NFL.  BTW I hate left handed QBs.

I just hope that if Jalen Hurts struggles a little bit this game for the first time this season that people remember that Avante Maddox couldn't go in this game and what that means with the would be matchup with Kirk.

If Slay is following Kirk into the slot, I guess you could see McPherson on the outside and maybe a little of Jobe. I don't think we'll see much of that though.

Eagles struggle in the first half and are down to the Jags going into the 2nd half at home in Doug's revenge game.  Britain Covey is pissed at Jalen's first half performance and let's it be known to Hurts in the locker room.  Hurts though has all the people affected by the Hurricane on his mind as well as the well being of former teammate Tua.  Howie Roseman again comes down into the locker room to address the team and coaches.
