As long as the Eagles keep winning and he doesn't fumble, I'd love to see Covey continue getting obliterated on punt returns. Been a highlight for me thru 3 weeks.

Tua got up from a hit last week and started to wobble/collapse.  It looked concerning.

Somehow, that was spun as something spasming or giving out.  Maybe by the team, maybe by Tua himself.

Then he has no objective or subjective symptoms all week.

What exactly is an independent specialist supposed to do? It’s easy for all the literal Monday morning qbs to say he never should have played…

Hey now... most of those folks were saying it Thursday.  ;)

I’m a big fan of Rashee Rice at the WO position .

My sister texted me and said that movie was "Weird”.   I was like, yeah.  The guy killed and ate people.  And Fed mannequins.  What did you expect, a love story?

Antony Brown was the guy who killed him. His face looks identical.

The front office clearly doesn't listen to the same podcasts RTK does.

Even Howie knows RTK’s track record of being epically wrong, cruised the board and signed Covey to the 53 immediately.  RTK better stop pumping up Hurts or Howie will trade him next off season.

Be even nicer if they threw a block or two for him.

Bryce Young injured and out of the game.

Bama's backup:

😳

Interservice games are awesome pageantry....working the AF/Navy game is something I hope to never do again though.

Am I evil for wanting to see Dabo Sweeney face plant running down the hill?

Well his coaching career is currently face planting.

Bijan

Chase Brown

Sean Tucker

Gibbs

Bigsby

Rodriguez

Charbonnet

Maybe Im forgetting someone. But thats 7 of the best backs in the country. Which likely means someone is going to be available in round 3.

You can have 3 picks to get younger on D before you go RB and still land a big fish at that position in this draft.

We will see what they are by the end of the year.  Great recruiter, but we are seeing him tested as a coach and seeing his ability to adapt to losing staff.

Faceplanting career probably wrong words...he's dumbo fisher 2.0 I think.

Meh.  He brought Clemson to the top of the mountain... and took it to Alabama multiple times.  I think he's fine.

If not him, then it's got to be Lito Sheppard.

Not looking forward to having to don rain gear and sit in the weather for four hours. PITA.

Yeah, but Eagles, dedicated fan, persevere, it's what we do...:Eagle_smiley:

At least it won't be cold....

Maybe the Jr. should have gave it away.  Then again….

@downundermike is going to be very VERY pissed that someone didnt know Trotter has a son playing football.

"Bryce has a little AC sprain in his shoulder,” Saban said. "We’ll have to take it day to day. I think he’s OK. He doesn’t have a serious injury. We didn’t think he could go back in today because I didn’t think he had much steam on throwing the ball. He’s had these before and in a few days it starts to respond pretty well so we’ll just have to see how it goes and play it day to day.”

Hate to say it but that sounds like a tear. @HazletonEagle ?

It can be very minor 1st or 2nd degree. Other shoulder, misses no time. Other position misses no time. QB throwing shoulder, will miss a week or 2 till the pain level doesnt hinder his throwing.

Not necessarily a tear. 1st degree is just a sprain. 2nd degree can be a partial tear of the AC ligament.

The degrees go up to 6.

At grade 3, its iffy whether you do surgery or not. Probably not. Not good enough results to go under the knife for a grade 3 and still have pain long term.

Grade 4 and above are surgical, involve more ligaments, and can tear in to the trap muscle. but the surgery doesnt do well. Theres been many many techniques tried but you just cant really ever get it perfect and still have pain after surgery.

From the sounds of what you quoted, this sounds like a grade 1 or 2 which isnt a big deal at all.
