Someone help me out... I'm pretty sure that a criminal trespasser doesn't have much ground to stand on in this situation to sue anyone for anything.

If anything, Wagner should be able to sue this guy for fouling his air.

Not sure if they already have but there should be a disclaimer when buying tickets to sporting events that if they try to run on the field, you are considered a threat and security and or participants on the field have the right to protect themselves.

Its a joke this guy is filing a report.  Apparently there was a female with him that got apprehended before she could run on the field.

Ah today's society.  Take no responsibility for your actions and blame others for the results.  The sad thing is it probably somehow gets settled outside of court and he walks away with something.

Might have already been posted but just got to it.  Really excellent conversation by Orlovsky/Spears/Clark and an interesting perspective on what makes this Eagles O unique by Solak.

How many of these "special runners" as QBs stay healthy in the NFL for any period beyond 2-3 seasons?  It's only sustainable provided the running QB is healthy

Not sure.  I think there's a precedent already set from another incident like this (several likely) where there's no grounds.

Given the state of things today, you can't be too careful when it comes to people going where they don't belong.  AND... it's not like he was empty handed.  He had some smoke bomb thing in his hand.  What was in that?  Did anyone know in that moment that it was harmless?  Could it have had some sort of an agent in it?

This guy should be sued by the court system for wasting the court's time.

There was always is a major disclaimer printed on the back of the ticket that you are not permitted on the field and that doing so will lead to prosecution, etc.  With the new e-tickets... who knows.  BUT, even then, there's plenty of signs, security, etc. that makes it clear that going on to the field is considered trespassing.  I don't know if there still is an announce during the game about it as well, but... there always was one back when I was a season ticket holder.

The RB's had their second best game of the year against the Jets, when Minshew was the starter.

It was the 6th best total for last season.  The team has had 3 games with more rushing yards this season than that Jets game.

I did not say the 2nd highest rushing total, I said the 2nd highest rushing total by the RB's.

F him. So glad Wagner lit him the hell up.

Eagles 31 Cards 17.

Bonus, 100 yards and a TD for Goedert.

Public service announcement... Read Option (RO) and Run-Pass Option (RPO) are very different things and mean very different options for the QB on the given play.  They are not the same thing.

Thank you for your attention, we now return you to your regularly scheduled blog posts conflating them.

I think the RPO is more of a triple option with Hurts being able to keep it vs. RPO with Foles where it's either a hand off or pass.

I know but there's a context to the larger question of whether the team has a better rushing attack with Hurts.

So Jake’s ankle injury made the decision a no-brainer, but let’s say he was healthy and the weather was not a factor, what do you think about going for 2 to make it a three-score game instead of a two-score game?

I see the merits of both. I’d tend to settle for the XP to make it 16 so it’s pretty much impossible for you to lose in regulation and forces the other team to he perfect. But I see the benefits of going for 2 and all but ending the game.

Not a chance a reasonable and prudent person would not help stop an intruder with some sort of device spewing an unknown into the area and approaching a group of people even under CA law.  Frankly, I am surprised the "protestor” is not facing terroristic threat charges. No one knew what was in the gas he was visibly releasing.

If you're at 15, with the option to go for 16/17 with the try, you should always go for 2. It ends the game. Even if you miss, they have to score twice AND hit the 2 point conversion. It's a lot of upside, and little downside.

What does this year's safety class look like? I don't follow college ball at all.

In Canadian civil law you are unable to recover any damages if an injury occurs to you while committing a criminal act. I don’t know if what he did constitutes criminal trespassing.

@BigEFly the negligence question is interesting. Wagner being a pro football player could be held to a higher standard (like a ufc fighter engaging in a street fight). But again I think a jury would laugh at this clown

I'd go for 2.

Yup. A common sense law.
