  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

They just haven't been able to land a QB or enough weapons, WRs and TEs.

They need to draft and develop a QB.

Yup they definitely need to stop with the quick fix QB and draft and develop one.

As for WR there are worse guys than Pittman and Pierce.

They really need a burner, they have a lot of big tall guys but not a lot of speed to threaten the deep 3rd.

Having said that I really don't care what the colts do...

Just know your fan card is on the line if they lose.

For multiple spots I agree. But I could even see it for one spot. I wonder what the most any team has ever given up in NFL history to move up one spot. Carolina is going to be horrendous. They will pick in the top 5. But say they finish 4th, and want to get into the top 3 for a QB they love. I could see them being crazy enough to give up a future #1 to move from say 4 to 3.

The Bears gave the Niners an early third, an early fourth, and a following-year third to move from #3 to #2 to get Trubisky.

Indy did not make any improvement at QB in going from Wentz to Matt Ryan.  It could be argued there was a chance for upside if Reich could have continued to work with Wentz and helped him regain form.

Ryan has no upside.  Too old, even less mobile than Wentz at this point, and always has been overrated.

Totally agree, Ryan is what 58 years old now😉

Having said that that doesn't mean wentz was the solution either

If the bar for Wentz is he's better than Matt Ryan then that's a really low bar.

Oh @Bacarty2, always opening your mouth and making stupid statements, when you can verify the info so easily.

I was gonna say - didn't he just miss his first PRACTICE ever this past week?

Immature but sure

Panthers had a nice RB and ran him into the ground without having anything else. I doubt he stays healthy for long

Immature?

How so?

Because I said Wentz is trash and you replied he's better than Matt Ryan?

Like I said that's a pretty low bar.

He even misspelled Bacardi.

The bar is irrelevant and the two QBs in question are irrelevant.

The issue is the Colts have gone from QB to QB every year for the past 6 years, and if I were a Colts fan I would have less than zero interest in the prospect of Matt Ryan being the QB for 2023 -- which means another QB shuffle for a 7th straight year.  They are one of the most low-key awful run organizations in the NFL, led by a terrible owner.

They will be (or should be) in the QB sweepstakes at the 2023 draft.

RTK may have something to say about that.

I bet JT can't wait to get out of that ish hole.  Maybe Howie can flip Miles and whatever else is needed for him.

I agree the bar is irrelevant, my response is in direct response to down under who posted about Wentz in Indy, then another poster said Wentz was better than Ryan, to which I said who cares that's a low bar

Everything else you posted makes sense terrible owner poorly run organization and need to draft and develop a QB.

Having said that I really don't care what the colts do or dont do, if they're a dumpster fire for the next decade no flack off my back, I have zero vested interests in the colts other than when they play the eagles.

Interesting idea.  Doug P might be interested in him as well.  FWIW, DiFillippo is available as well.

If he gets an offer from both... I think Reich goes with Doug.  They are friends from way back.

Doug also saved Reich from being fired after the 2016 season

43 minutes ago, FranklinFldEBUpper said:

I'm not kidding when I wonder if the moderate success of Reich's first couple seasons in Indianapolis were because of Nick Sirianni.

Possible.   Of course, a few years ago folks said that Doug's success in Philly in the Super Bowl year was because of Frank Reich.  A lot of times, we are prisoners of the moment.

Im finding it very difficult not to reach the conclusion that Frank Reich is a horrible HC

Some people just arent cut out for it.  Like Nathaniel Hackett or Josh McDaniels, knowing football is one thing and being a head coach is another

The Colts are god awful, its just a total ish team.  Theres no way you can separate Reich from the failure at this point.  Its on him.

I think Reich has done OK given the talent he has had.  The team has a very bad o-line this season.  They have mediocre skill position players and a mediocre to bad QB.

Still my favorite away games that I attended.

All of the AZ games I went to when they were a divisional opponent still were the most fun.

Floating down the Salt River the day before. Nice.

It serves them right. They went from Peyton to Luck by sheer luck and did nothing to protect him.

It's a lifestyle thing. Work 12-16 hours a day, sleep 3-4 hours and live in a time zone on the other side of Erf. Your wish has been granted.

Is an understatement.

Once Kelly went down it went from bad to worse

Nelson is a top guard but when he's surrounded by trash it doesn't matter.

I'm not sure how anyone can watch Pryor and say yeah this guy should be starting.

There has to be some one out there that can do better than Pryor, he's comically bad

At least the LT has a little bit of an excuse, he's a rookie he's getting his first start at LT on a short week

What's Pryor's excuse??? He was bad here he was bad last year even though PFF somehow gave him a passable grade

Be interested to see their grade on him for yesterday's game, never seen an OT stand up and just ole' a defender to the QB over and over again, tallest matador in existence.

We lose because @e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! goes to the game.  Sirianni gets criticized by the team for wearing a Zach Ertz Cardinals shirsey underneath his Eagles polo during the game.  Kenneth Gainwell gets more carries than Sanders and fumbles the ball.

As I said when some people were screaming for us to Wilson and Watson.   It's not worth mortgaging our future.   Watson is on suspension and Russ isn't starting too hot.   The point of the story is.....the grass isn't always greener on the other side.   In our case supporting Jalen and building around him was the best move for the future and franchise.

@LeanMeanGM

Can’t remember if I made a prediction so:

Eagles 34

Cards 17

Bonus: we miss an extra point.

I am amazed how many people that don't like him are still so obsessed with the former Colts QB
