That confirms it @Connecticut Eagle, Cowboys defense is definitely elite

We'll see.  After giving up 200 yards receiving, Diggs will get an interception off a deflected pass and we'll hear all about his ball skills.

They can rush the passer but their dbs can be had

would surprise me if we go alot of 11 and keep the back in to block. Run right as parsons

RB in RDs 3-5 in the draft.

I remain a non Miles-Sanders fan.

Not a huge Sanders fan either.  Problem when critiquing him is that even though he missed a hole big enough for Mailata and Jordan Davis to walk through he still got 12 yards.  So many will say that's a great run.

If i am running the dallas D i play a heavy mix of cover 1 with a spy and cover 3

When you have an elite OL and great burst, you can get away with A LOT of BS. I still think the Eagles need an upgrade there to compete for a championship.

I'm fine with Lane protecting the right side. Not worried.

If Mailata plays, I'm fine with that too. Hopeful Jordan can go. Parsons is a Force but we have the Dogs to neutralize him.

Offensive schemes included. RPOs can have him standing there with his face hanging out while the play goes around him.

Going to take a real gameplan to get it done. Trust Steichen? Maybe...

No Sacks from the right side tho, Lane will bury his ass. Not like Hutchinson...over matched.

hahaha yeah, but people sometimes think they have to hit it on the ground to happen. Snapping the head back with force can do it as well.

@LeanMeanGM

Dallas 28

Eagles 17

Hurts with two turnovers

I keep picking against them and they keep winning, so I'm going with it.

You have GreenD-isease.

Cant rpo an athlete like parsons. He can wait out the mesh point

Run at him. Let him handle a lead blocker all game. That ish is tiring and while he is an uber athlete, he is not that big, comparatively

The defense I absolutely agree about the playcalling.  But the game plan sure seemed to focus on the run and screens to slow down the blitzes. That usually works and opens up the passing game. Sound reasoning but the Cards initially played the run well because that was anticipated from the Eagles.  But that last drive was solid running.  I gave Shane a C because of his lack of imagination and stick with that grade. Not terrible play calling as the post I was responding to characterized it.  I think fair is the terms polls use the C grade. As to the sneaks, I actually thought the designs were pretty good.  I don’t discount that Mailata being out and Dickerson missing time with all three IOL a bit banged up probably played a bigger factor in play calling than we credit.

Indeed. As I've said before, Driscoll was lousy. We couldn't run to his side, couldn't pass-block to his side. Opeta wasn't much better, though he's a better run-blocker. I posted some screen shots yesterday showing the RDE on the Cards getting blocked by our RG. Some smart scheming by Stoutland, well executed by Seumalo, but still. The Cards overloaded our right side a lot and, in combination with the ineptitude on the left side, that kind of limits your play calls. Kelce goes out late in the first half, what can you expect? Even when they didn't blitz they got pressure. How many deep passes did we try? Don't remember any, off the top of my head. You want deep shots, you better pass block. How can you complain about the play-calling if the plays you want can't work and may get your QB hurt?

You can rpo anybody. I think you're talking about a read-option, though.

I might have to watch 44-6 this week.

Thats what i would do. Force him to set the edge and wear his ass out

Right i should have been more specific

but thats also where the spy and parsons can have clear cut assignment. Even rpo invites some big hits from a defender not worry about honoring the run
