The only thing that makes a phillies Pirates game better is cancer talk.

Suarez should have been a starter from the beginning of the year instead of the other crap then maybe they might make the playoffs and not be involved in this smoke and mirrors show

He's earned himself a spot in the rotation for next season.  Girardi is letting him try for the CG.  Through 8 IPs he was at 90 pitches.  And there it is, a CG SO.

Harper with HR #34 and Vierling gets his first career HR.  He's been pretty good in his short stint so far, hopefully he can keep it up.

 

My prediction is still in play where the Phillies have a chance at the division in atlanta and they blow the save that gives them the record and likely ends their season 

Go Padres. Tease me.

Just saw that.  A passed ball put a runner on 2nd and then a single scored the runner.  Better win this in the bottom 9th or extras, Pads, after blowing it.  Side note, Vinny Velasquez starter for the Pads tonight.  Still sucks.

So Adonis Medina, a guy who was a starter all year and actually pitched well in a spot start last week could have started, but he goes with a kid making his mlb debut..... 

Have to sweep the Braves.  Not even taking 2 of 3 is going to do it.  We're 3 back in the L column.  Think they had won 9 of their last 12, but when you blow that many saves and have a sub .500 record vs the worst teams in MLB then going on a hot streak near season's end isn't enough. 

Stanton channeling his inner Bucky F'ing Dent vs the Red Sox and putting the sword to them this series.  Was hoping the Red Sox and Blue Jays could keep the Yankmees out of the playoffs, but no such luck.  Have to cheer for whoever is playing them and the annoying Dodgers in the playoffs.

 

To be honest I think they have to win the last six games.
