August 15, 20205 yr Wonder what the odds would have been on Hoskins to get an RBI from drawing a bases loads walk vs a bases clearing double? Probably would have favoured the former by a large margin over the latter. In 14 games just 1 RBI before tonight now 3 RBIs on one swing. Is this the start of a hot streak for Hoskins or just a fluke AB?

It won't stay that low over the course of a season, even a shortened one, but allowing minimal runners on base is huge. Having low BBs and not giving freebies to the opposing O allows for a pitcher to be daring and go at the hitters. So even when there is a mistake it'll only cost him 1 run instead of more. I do like that his K to IP ratio is up there as that shows you a combo of command and dominance.
