Why not have Bruce play outfield and have Realmuto DH and have mccutchen play center to start and then with a lead move mccutchen to left and then have kingery or quinn play center.

August 21, 20205 yr Can’t pitch, can’t win. Doesn’t matter how much you can rake if you can’t get anybody out. Baseball doesn’t have a game clock — you have to get outs. Spend the payroll on a solid rotation and develop hitters internally. The Phillies couldn’t be any further away from that blueprint. Is there any pitcher on this roster the team can build around? Another toxic element is rewarding terrible players. Kingery can’t play — I’ve been saying it for two years. I’d take 10 Francos and Hernandez’s before another Kingery

After Nolla and wheeler the rotation is basically awful. Arrieta sucks. The velasquez can never get through five. Eflin throws a ton of strikeouts but can’t get out of like four innings. And Spencer Howard has looked like a rookie pitcher. Then you have your best bullpen arm yet hit by a line drive in the nuts. And everyone including neris sucks

In your opinion though, do you think they are hitting better because of Giardi ? Or do think it's just because Harper is playing up to his talent level and that is boosting the whole line up?
