He’s likely not wrong. Dodgers starters and their lineup are playing their best baseball right now. outside of their BP being shaky their starters have been great and lineup can hit much more consistently than the Phillies. The Phillies won 2 of 3 against them but the Phillies bullpen wasn’t very good and we looked awful against their starters. Even Ranger, Sanchez and luzardo weren’t great against them

If our bullpen is going to be as bad as they have the past 2 weeks (4.67 era since start of royals series) it’s an issue. That’s the one area where we should be better. Cats can make the argument the dodgers have better starting rotation of Yamamoto, snell, Ohtani and glasnow vs. Sanchez, Ranger and Luzardo. I think their lineup is overall better.

If they’re healthy I think they have a shot. The pitching is a big question mark though.

I haven’t given up but i just don’t think they have the most talented roster heading into the NL playoffs. Imo one advantage we had over LA was bullpen but if our BP is going to be leaking oil then really it’s a push. It also means your starters and lineup have to be better than dodgers. Not sure they are over a best of 5 series

Tbh don’t mind going Robertson in the 8th with the amount of RH hitters the marlins had coming up. That said strahm should’ve been used in the 10th not Kerkering. Apparently strahm was warming up prior to the rain delay then rain delay hit. So wondering if because he warmed up then sat if they didn’t want to potentially have him warmup again and hurt himself

One to go and our spot will be locked in as #2 seed. Can't complain overall about the regular season. This will likely be the last Red October shot for this core group of Phillies.

Issue with Robertson has been Thomson using him on back to back nights. He’s 40 now and couldn’t do it a couple years ago. So not sure why Thomson thinks he’ll be more effective at 40 doing it. Robertson’s other issue lately is keeping the ball in the park. Given up 3 HRs in his last 5 appearances

Duran probably needs rest but he also needs to quit shaking off realmuto. Feels like every time he does then something goes wrong.

Like you said Kerkering is a head case. I’ve said the same thing. There’s times where he’s good but he also has stretches where he can’t find the zone and implodes. And it’s far too frequent. Right now he looks like he has no confidence. He also looks a little out of shape. He has been the latter for 2 months now. Imo can’t have him be a vital part of the pen next year. He can be your 5-6th guy. But he’s shown this year he’s not reliable enough to be a main cog
