They kind of ran him into the ground early in the season because I needed him to. He hasn’t pitched seven innings since the beginning of July. Another issue that he’s having is his command is not as good or as crisp. That’s why he sometimes has a walk issue that he has. And he’s getting himself into deeper counts, which is hurting his pitch count and getting him out of the game earlier.

I get they needed him to get the wins but, there were a few games I feel were unnecessary to have him out there as much as they did.
