Honestly not making the playoffs may be the best thing. They need to clean house like the Sixers and get a new perspective at GM.

As a fan, I want them to make the playoffs. But then there’s another part of me that wants them to completely fail miserably so Dave Dombrowski gets Fing laughed at for being a Fing dope that doesn’t know how to construct a bullpen nor get a Fing lineup out there that doesn’t Fing suck.

Probably not good that shugart is currently the 3rd best arm in the bullpen. 0.00 ERA in 5.2 IP in September

Oh yes, can’t hit, horrid bullpen and luzarado hurt. they should’ve been sellers because this team‘s window was closed. They could’ve gotten like a boatload of good prospects for Wheeler, Schwarber, and Duran, who you’re not gonna use in a rebuild and you could’ve had your farm system at least be better

I mean look at Marsh... we thought he finally figured it out and was having a great first half and then literally did a 180 the complete opposite the second half and now absolutely SUCKS. Don’t Wheeler and Schwarber have no movement clauses because of the 5/10 rule?

They do but that doesnt mean the team cant ask them. Wheeler could probably fetch a good prospect or two assuming he finishes the season out healthy. Plus, he only has 1 more year on his contract.

Schwarber would have to be traded to a team that not only needs a DH, but also has the payroll flexibility to fit his contract. Not sure who that is. To be honest, its all a moot point anyway. Be prepared to see DD get a contract extension and to see this same damn team next year assuming there is a season.
