Am I missing something here? Mlb is the worst at marketing their athletes. It’s been that way for a while. Reporters asked why trout isn’t marketed more and better by mlb and manfred said it’s his own fault. Baseball needs a new commissioner that can get with the times.

And look....looking waaaaaay forward......we have to get through the Cardinals but I'd much much rather face Atlanta than the Dodgers and with the way San Diego is playing.....what if....what if we beat Atlanta and San Diego beats the Dodgers? The World Series would not be out of the question....

That’s other sports like the nfl and nhl where they do that. mlb doesn’t re-seed matchups where dodgers would face the lowest remaining seed. It just goes by the how the bracket is set up. I found that out midway through the season. Not sure their reasoning. I’m doubting it’s traveling cause if the Mets come back the dodgers/Mets have the longest travel of any potential series in the nlds.

I’m curious to see how the Phillies bullpen looks after nola is taken out. Robertson has been bad on back to back days pitching. I trust Alvarado to be fine even after yesterday as he’s probably eager to get back out there. Eflin has pitched back to back days out of the bullpen but that’s cause he threw 9 pitches the day before then 12 the next day. He had 22 yesterday. I’m guessing they’d like to avoid using eflin and Robertson if possible. should have Alvarado, bellatti, dominguez and hand available. Kind hope nola gets some run support and can go 7.

October 9, 20224 yr Gonna need at some point top of the lineup to start hitting. Currently 1-4 spots are 1-19 in the series. well that was not an ideal way to start the game. But nola got out of the leadoff double
