He’s been god awful nearly every time out. He needs to be sent down. Another loss solely because of this bum. On a side note, I read they're sending Turnbull to the pen. I hate that idea. Let the guy continue to ride his great starting pitching streak. Why F with proven success? He's had nothing but high quality starts this year and sitting now with a 1.33 ERA.

Yep - giving his spot to that scrub Walker. It's like the Phillies purposely try to dig themselves a hole early on in the season just to see if they can climb out of it by year's end. Turnbull was a sub 2 ERA through 5 starts but they boot him in favor of a dude with a career ERA a few points below 4

I had a feeling they’d move him to the pen. Probably piggy back off Walker. Tbh they might consider going to a 6 man rotation at some point in the year to keep the innings down so they can be fresher going into the playoffs. as for Dominguez, if he doesn’t have options I’d 15 day IL. Then have him do rehab stint until he figures it out. At this point can’t use him.

Had to get the series split here - bring the big guns out.

April 27, 20242 yr Who thought the Padres city connect jerseys was a good idea? Those have to be the worst jerseys I’ve ever seen. It makes ours look fantastic

It makes ours look fantastic Nike did. They look great, in a vacuum. It would be a really good color scheme on its own. But it really sticks out like a sore thumb against the normal color scheme of brown and yellow. The Padres also look like clowns or human beachballs with those colors, and it would be more appropriate for a minor league team.
