Horrible game for Harper today, bad baserunning, crappy at bats and that ball was a double play ball

At least we didn’t blow it.

A sweep is awesome but Walker sucks. Eat that contract and put Turnbull back in the rotation. Walker is gonna lose more games for us than win. The offense bailed him out today but 6 runs is terrible.

If the Phillies can go 2-1 vs. the Angels, a 7-3 west coast trip would be fantastic...sweep the Angels and 8-2 would be about the best you could have ever hoped for!  They are 1.5 games behind the Braves and have the 2nd best record in the NL.  And I agree with Walker, pull him for Turnbull and move Walker to the bullpen as a long reliever.  Like so long!

Good start. Credit to the Phillies for taking care of business against bad teams. However i also think some of this is we’ve played a lot of teams below .500.  the reds are the only team we’ve faced over .500 (currently) and went 3-4

Kind of a skewed stat, though....   Opening day wasn't until April 5th in 1993 and April 1st in 2011.   It was March 29th this year.

They went 17-5 (.772) in 1993, 18-8 (.692) in 2011 and are currently 18-8 as well this year, so they'll play 6 more games than 1993 and 2 more games than 2011.

Can we leave Castellanos in Anaheim?

Quit Fing using Dominguez and send him to the minors already with an "injury”

You just knew the game was lost when you see Dominguez

JFC Dominguez. Dude has absolutely no control and cost the Phillies two runs cause he has absolutely no control

Disaster

lol Castellanos striking out on a pitch right down the middle of the plate.

Brutal

Dominguez and Castellanos should be in single A

Drop Dominguez, move Turnbull to the bullpen. We desperately need another RHP in the bullpen to replace Dominguez.

That keeps sanchez in the rotation giving it more L/R balance.

Also I'm fully out on Nick at this point. Idc about his contract, if this team is serious about winning they will have to upgrade before the deadline barring some crazy offensive run by him the next few months.

He will have a good two week stretch and they will use that as an excuse to keep running him out there

Its called plate discipline, he learned that in spring training

I’d 15 day IL dominguez. Then send him on a 2-3 week rehab to figure his crap out. If he comes back and same problem is just DFA. I’m guessing someone snags him but at this point he had issues last year with consistency and now he’s just awful. At some point it might not be fixable here

Risky in a different way...... The Mets prior GM Eppler did a few of those......and he got caught.....now hes on a 1 yr suspension...... gotta have a solid reason to IL a guy.

Only shot is to ask him to go to AAA for a few weeks to sort through it.

Trout injured again
