That video with Lane is in so slow motion.  In human eye/full speed that would have been invisible to the line judge.  Happens all the time.  Bet I could find the same on Trent Williams and Sweat.

Yup. Why i think it happens more than we think.  I also think one happened at the half yard line. Throwing a penalty really moves them back like maybe a quarter of a yard and eagles didn’t do anything on the play or drive so even if they saw it wasn’t doing much.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Not sure where you're getting the impression that anyone's losing sleep over it, but I know there are guys like Franklin who put a futures bet at the beginning of the season for the Eagles to win it all, and now that it's down to the final game, he wants to hedge his bet (a way to bet against your previous bet to guarantee a profit at reduced winnings.) For anyone like him, watching the line closely is important to maximize return.

Wasn’t implying anyone on here losing sleep but if there are people tweeting about it already, I’m sure there are people totally immersed.

Charlie Weis whining that the Niners got the short end of the stick from the officials.  Love it.  Every one of those calls were shown on replay to be valid, but complain away.

He is one of the Sirius hosts, I really dont like to listen to. He is always pro Brady- NE, Bill Bellichic.... and he is just hard to listen to.

Good stuff.  Like I said last night, the bully of the NFL walked into the wrong neighborhood, F around and found out.  Both lines beat them up.

Yup, they then fell apart due to frustration and the Eagles played composed.

They got 2 of their QBs injured because they couldn't stop the pass rush. Eagles we're going to be in the backfield all day and Purdy doesn't do well under pressure.

The lines won the game. Amazing stat: 49ers attempted 19 passes. They got off 16. Three sacks and 7 QB hits.

The only thing he was right about was Shanahan not challenging the DeVonta Smith catch.  As soon as Smith started gesturing to the offense to hurry up, Shanahan should have taken the risk and challenged it.—  It was a chunk play on 4th down.

Even though I thought Smith caught the ball in the moment, I couldn’t believe the Niners allowed the Eagles to snap the ball.

Early assessment of the Super Bowl matchup is I think it favors the Eagles stylistically.  Mahomes likes to hold onto the football to allow plays to develop, and Andy typically doesn’t lean on a concerted run game effort.

Burrow typically releases the football in 2.5 seconds or less to counter the effect of a strong pass rush.  Mahomes and Reid tend not to do that

Mahomes regular season — 2.85 seconds to throw; playoffs he’s even a bit above that.  I don’t think he’ll have that luxury against the Eagles’ pass rush.

I also assume Gannon will employ the same game plan to Travis Kelce as he did for George Kittle.  Kittle was invisible in the first half

At jury duty this morning and ran into another Philly fan. Both of us wore eagles hats

We know who to blame now.

Naw we broke my curse we are 1-17 now in my last 18. Win the SB and sixers win the next game in Az that’s called a winning streak. It has happened before.

9ers had 3 delay of games, that's just unacceptable. Also, they had 3 unnecessary roughness penalties, although one was offset with the scrum towards the end.

I'm enjoying all the salt from the media like it's bad that both #1 seeds and the top 2 MVP contenders are playing in the SB. Sure, I would have loved to play the 9ers with Purdy the whole time, but a big part of football is protecting your QB. The 9ers failed to do that all season long, and it greatly showed in the NFCCG.

I appreciate what Andy did here. Thank him for the good years here. However F him the next 2 weeks and if he beats us in the SB. my allegiance is to the eagles not former birds or firmer coaches.

So you have no allegiance to firm coaches.  How about soft ones?

Mahomes 2.6, Burrow 2.2

I wasn’t a fan of chip Kelly or kapler to begin with

Those Baldy breakdowns are awesome.

SF did not belong on the field with the Eagles.

In the video the 49ers defender who had a good angle to see the bobble signaled no catch.  His coaches didn’t respond to his signal any more than they responded to Smith’s hand signal.

Yep, if the player making the catch is the one calling for the team to rush the next play, you throw your challenge flag immediately.

Shanahan fail...Head Coach needs to be more in the moment.

Sermon would get a shot finally hopefully

Gonna need someone better than that.

I feel like I always see the OT false starts pop up when people start whining about something. If people watched the games it's been happening literally all year with every team. I've seen it called maybe twice.

I think the most sustainable way to dominate via running game is to build around the OL as the lead weapon.  Come at them with waves at RB so injuries can only hurt so much and so that there are always fresh legs.

And much cheaper for the RBs too... need to only invest mid-round picks or low level vet contract money.

I thought I saw somewhere that the OTs are allowed to move their outside foot so long as their inside foot remains in place.

I feel like almost any coach auto throws a challenge flag on that play on 4th down regardless. It's weird that he didn't.

Any update on Dickerson?
