Suh and Joseph had minimal Cap hit.  Probably would be the same in 2023.

4 million combined, and they only played half the season.

So if my math is correct, wouldn't it be 8 million for the whole season ??

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Sign and trade isnt a thing bc it accelerates all the signing bonus proration

Not if you don’t include any signing bonus in the contract.  Use Roster Bonus or Workout Bonus or Other Bonus.  They don’t accelerate.

That does not work in the NFL.  If he signs a 3 year deal, with a signing bonus of 10 million spread out over 3 years, his cap hit becomes 10 million the moment he is traded.

Yeah, Seumalo would sign that deal, when he can just go sign as a free agent and get a signing bonus on top of those.

THE NFL IS NOT A SIGN AND TRADE LEAGUE.

Wow, that is a well thought out response.

They have no interest in playing a whole season or going to Training Camp.

Wow, that is a well thought out resonse.

What’s a resonse?

Well, after having an impact on a Super Bowl team, they will look to get compensated.

And resonse is response missing 1 letter.

So you quoted me with no actual response then

It is simple math.  If the total bonuses are hypothetically $50 million, and they are guaranteed, why would the player care what bucket they are in?

No, the response is there.  "Not if you don’t include any signing bonus in the contract.  Use Roster Bonus or Workout Bonus or Other Bonus.  They don’t accelerate.”

Because a signing bonus, they get 100% of it upfront, all the other bonuses they have to earn and are paid out in each year they are earned.

Regardless, the NFL is not and has never been a sign and trade league, but you keep bringing it up

I just heard a crazy stat on WIP

Most wins vs teams with a winning record in NFL history:

  • 1969 Vikings 9-1
  • 2007 Patriots 9-1
  • 2022 Eagles 9-1

If the Eagles win the SB they become the only team to ever have 10 wins vs winning teams.

Weak Schedule? 🤣

Denver is going to be bad for a long time. Giving up a 1st and a 2nd for a coach when they are in cap trouble is idiotic

@LeanMeanGM Chiefs 24 Eagles 35

Bonus: Hurts MVP

Maybe you should take a moment to analyze those nine wins, I will start with three of them are against the New York Giants. Are you going to honestly tell me they are a good football team?

They were good enough to make the playoffs so.

Patriots were playing the jets and dolphins and crap bills teams  for 6 easy wins every year.

All one can do is play whose in the schedule.

Simpletons don't get the Giants. Here it is for everyone else.

The Giants were 10-8-1 0verall. They were 10-5-1 when not playing the Eagles.

They were 0-2 vs the 12 win Cowboys. So they were 10-3-1 when not playing the 12 win Cowboys or 14 win Eagles.

Put it another way, they were 2-5 in the NFC East and 8-3-1 vs the rest of the league. If you think 8-3-1 is a joke then the punchline is you.

The Giants were +47 in their 14 games when not facing the Eagles or Cowboys. They were -14 vs the Cowboys and -63 vs the Eagles.

The only problem the Giants had this year was playing in the best division with one of the 25 best teams in NFL History and getting that team yet again in the playoffs.

I don't care about the Patriots.

3 against the Giants, and I bet I could find a post by the OP calling them garbage and not a playoff team.

1 against Cooper Rush

1 against Kirk Cousins ( the best of those wins )

1 against a team who had no QB for an entire half.

1 against Jaguars ( second best win )

1 against the Steelers

1 against the Lions who started 1-6

Yes, you can only play who is on your schedule, but not really that impressive @SkippyX

Only two of those eight wins came against teams with a winning record.

The Giants had the 7th hardest schedule in the NFL. DC was 5th because they also had to play the Giants 2x instead of themselves.

You know who this Eagles team would’ve lost to?

The 2015 Rams. Right @SkippyX?

Yea, the Cardinals field is on a huge tray that rolls in.  It lets them grow real grass outside and then bring it in to the dome.

That should be popular with the players. Most seem to hate artificial turf in its various forms.

The Giants were 8-8-1 + the refs fixing the 2nd Commies game. Jones is not better than mediocre and they are nothing special.

They had a surprising season to make the playoffs and win a game but they don't belong on the field with the Eagles.

I mean, these are your words skippy, now the Giants are good ??

I can go find more, but I think this make my point.

I don't get why the guys in the booth need to be propagandists. The Giants offense sucks. The Giants O-line did not gel.

  • They put up 18 on the worst D in the league (Detroit) on November 20th
  • They put up 24 on the worst team in the league on November 13th
  • They put up 20 vs the Commanders 2x
  • They scored a whole 20 on Dallas. Is that why they are good?
  • The Vikings D fell apart this season, giving up 34, 36, and 41 in December. Scoring 24 and 31 on them is just showing up.
  • They did not really try vs the Eagles
  • Zero evidence the Giants 15/18 ranked O is anything.

OBVIOUS intentional grounding BTW

Oh what the hell, I will do 1 more.
