Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Only two of those eight wins came against teams with a winning record.

How does math work down under because Jags + Vikings + Ravens does not = 2, that's 3 playoff teams they beat.

The NFL is a closed system of 32 teams. The Giants had the 10th best record with the 8th hardest schedule and then they won a playoff game on the road vs a 12-5 team.

If the Giants are not a good team then there were only 7 good teams maximum this year. (and they beat 2 of those)

With only 7 good teams then all schedules are bad. Its one of those circular arguments that can only be sustained by ignorance.

I only looked at the regular season, my apologies.

But your two posts I quoted that tell an entirely different story about what you think of the Giants are interesting.

Which way is the wind blowing today?

Even if you were to go by weirdo rules of only 8 good teams then the Giants had to play 8 games vs those 8 teams. 👀

Philly x3

Dallas x2

Vikings x2

Ravens

The 10-7 Chargers were the actual joke.

9 of their 10 wins are vs 10+ loss teams and the one other win was not a playoff team in the 9-7 Dolphins.

They lost their first playoff game after being up 27-7 at halftime vs a 9-8 team.

Youre totally right, the Eagles are frauds!  Buncha empty meaningless wins over bums, is what I say.

Why do you keep posting but won’t address your own posts calling the Giants garbage

That's the weird part about Foles. Played great for us in 2013 and 2017 but whenever he went somewhere else he ends up being a backup

One of the strangest nfl careers

Except for Steve McNair, was there ever a Quarterback that did well with Jeff Fisher?

So your attempt at invalidating a statistic that shows the Eagles have achieved something only two other teams in the history of the NFL have achieved, hinges on whether SkippyX of the EMB has a consistent opinion of the New York Giants??

The Giants were an objectively "good" team this year.  Regardless, it's still pretty incredible.

Just proving that he is posting the opposite of his own words.

They’ll be completely exposed in the playoffs

Why does Michael Robinson and some of these other guys always have yell on TV?   It’s ridiculous.

This is a trap year

Wow. I can’t believe someone would even suggest this. Not only do I disagree, but I think it’s actually a laughable assertion. Goedert is massively better than Celek, who I always liked, and pretty much was from the day he showed up.

That's fine.  That's why they are opinions.  Not everyone has to agree.

I think he means, they are lucky to find a team dumb enough to trade them a first for Sean Payton

Same team that traded tons for Russell Wilson.  PT Barnum was right...

Because a signing bonus, they get 100% of it upfront, all the other bonuses they have to earn and are paid out in each year they are earned.

Regardless, the NFL is not and has never been a sign and trade league, but you keep bringing it up

There have been exceptions.

But, these are just franchise situations, not unrestricted free agents.

One reason why we're as stout as we are against the pass is because our D is prepared, disciplined, and we don't take the cheese. Play action just isn't as successful against us compared to other teams. But also, running that play with Reddick on the back side is riskier than having him on the play side.

And there's the spear from Greenlaw at the end of that last play.

Not close to the same.  There is no bonuses or additional years on the contract.  It is a 1 year base salary, and those guys all probably signed a new contract and didn’t play on the franchise tag.
