Just now seeing that Scott Rolen made the Baseball HOF...it's been a while but was he really a HOF player?

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

He is definitely an Edge and Tracy McGrady level HoF player.

There has to be a worst guy in the hall. Why not Rolen?

I’m doing everything I can to go to the Super Bowl. I can’t believe it is in Arizona.

Good luck bro. If you stumble on some affordable tickets let me know. I’d love to go to the game with someone else from the emb/blog

Is Macrodosing a podcast for people who are high?

Arian is high in that clip and the NFL should sue him for 10 million dollars.

Are we supposed to believe the NFL scripted this 2022 Broncos season and every 13-6 Thursday night game?

They are clearly mocking fans that said that over the weekend, what?

If the Eagles haven't played anyone, who has? Everyone thinks every time outside of the top few suck. So who has played anyone? No one has played anyone, I guess.

For 2022 comparisons, the strength of schedule argument is BS.  Eagles played in a division with 3 playoff teams, all of which won a game.  They dismantled the best teams in the conference.  So their body of work relative to other 2022 teams is beyond reproach.

If we were to compare them to historically great teams, then I would knock them for strength of schedule and who they haven’t played.

Was listening to Fran Duffy’s podcast with Cosell…

* AJ Brown leads the NFL in yardage on slant plays. A year ago, it seemed like we barely ran them.

* Spags has really dialed back on the blitzes of late and has been playing more zone. They still press quite a bit.

So it was like the Onion, except not funny, and a podcast?

Probably a bit late on this, but they are asking Purdy to turn his back to the defense and have their average OL hold up against a top pass rush for a long developing play. It’s a risk they tried to take to have the defense back off a bit and it didn’t pay off for them. Everyone was focused on Reddick but Cox was right there too. I haven’t seen the all-22 yet to see what was open, but 9ers had 6 blockers to the Eagles 5 rushers and 3 of them were in the backfield. Purdy would need to get it off almost immediately after he turned back around, and he’s also not exactly known for throwing it over 20 yards.

Eagles did the same thing with putting a TE on Bosa and also leaving him completely unblocked. I don’t think the play call itself was bad, but you have to recognize who you are playing against.

1969 Vikings, 2007 Patriots and 2022 Eagles all have the record for most wins vs winning teams with 9.

If the Eagles win the SB they will be one of the bests team to win the SB based on schedule.

They will have beaten 3 of the other 4 teams in the league with 13+ wins.

The schedule angle is from ignorant morons who can't think for themselves. The Eagles faced a tougher schedule than the 49ers and Chiefs.

But also, running that play with Reddick on the back side is riskier than having him on the play side.

F'd around and found out

Did you know the field in Arizona rolls out on a track in the open sun?

Yes, it's common knowledge. I think Las Vegas does the same thing.

Before we played the Giants they sucked. After we blew them out the water they were a really good team. Like, does this really need explanation?

The 49ers played 10 teams with 10+ losses, the Chiefs played 9, the Eagles only played 6, and the Bengals only 6. The Bills only 4.

We may find out next Sunday that every team in the NFL sucks compared to the 2022 Eagles.

Compared to the Chargers and Ravens? The Giants are probably good.

Amazing breakdown of our RPO game.

No wonder the 9ers LBs were so frustrated.

I don't care about the Patriots.

3 against the Giants, and I bet I could find a post by the OP calling them garbage and not a playoff team.

1 against Cooper Rush

1 against Kirk Cousins ( the best of those wins )

1 against a team who had no QB for an entire half.

1 against Jaguars ( second best win )

1 against the Steelers

1 against the Lions who started 1-6

Yes, you can only play who is on your schedule, but not really that impressive @SkippyX

What team do you assert did play a tough schedule and won say 12 or more?  Not San Fran, their schedule was weaker than our schedule by far.  You're left with only the AFC teams.  KC, Buff, Cinn all played each other.  That is the difference.  I think it would be fair to say "the Eagles haven't played any of the top AFC teams yet" and leave it at that.  The constant drum beat of "they haven't played anyone is silly".  It was particularly silly leading up to the 49ers game with the 49ers had a far easier schedule and lost more games as well.

The Eagles are a great team and have one test left against the best team they will play all year.  That's the bottom line.

RTK was in a bad place about Foles in 2017. DUM 2022 is 20x worse because he's in denial about the basic facts of reality.

SoS and SoV are not opinion. The results of the games are not opinion.

He is pretending the AFC was superior and that all these imaginary teams had tough schedules compared to the Eagles..

He can't actually tell you any of these teams but its his story so he's sticking to it.

Its a lie he tells himself and we can not be his therapy to get better. he does not want to get better. He wants to live in his delusion.

The Vikings were another team that the idiots could not shut up about but their only real weakness was the NFC East.

  • The went 5-0 vs the AFC including 4-0 vs the AFC East. They beat the Bills.
  • The went 4-2 in division.
  • The went 2-0 in their 2 extra games of NO and AZ.
  • They only played 5 teams with 10+ losses. The 49ers played 10.

They were a 11-2 and a +45 when not playing the NFC East.

They were 2-3 and -55 vs the NFC East.

Maybe he's holding out hope that the AFC Central can save his delusion?  No, the NFC East was 3-1 vs the AFC Central, only DC lost to Cleveland.

The NFC East was +20

The NFC East has 4 playoff wins and no other division has 3.

The Eagles playoff dominance is only comparable to the 1978 Steelers, the '85 Bears, the 88 and 89 49ers, and the 2000 Ravens.

The Eagles O-line is all-time dominant, like 2003 Chiefs good. Their D-line is among the best ever. They just broke the '85 Bears sack record.

They go 4 deep at corner with 2 pro bowl / all pro level guys and 2 very good slot corners.

They have an MVP candidate QB who is the first QB in history to be top 5 in QB rating and rushing TDs.

They have a pair of 1000 yard WRs and a 1000 yard back.

They have a top 5 TE who only missed the pro bowl due to an IR technicality.

They are 22 of 22 healthy even if Lane is playing through pain and Dickerson needs an elbow wrap.

The Eagles appear to be a top 25 all-time team in a top 25 all time-division. They are 16-1 when their MVP candidate QB plays.

How broken do you have to be to work so hard (even if its sloppy and incoherent work) to fight accepting that they are a special team?

I’m not calling any team special until they win a championship. If they get beat by the chiefs, this team joins the myriad of wannabes that have come before them.

Good luck having their small CBs press AJ.

If Willie Gay doesn't play, we may run for 200 yards again. We don't struggle running against teams with good DL. We can struggle against teams with good LBs.
