They could.  My point was that the 'innocent until proven guilty' piece isn't relevant.  The Eagles can do whatever they want with him.  And if they cut him, what have they really lost?

That only applies to the court of law.   There are codes of conduct rules in the NFL, and players can be cut at any time for any reason.  That's the nature of the business.   So, if the team deems having him around isn't worth it for them, he's gone and there's really no recourse for him.

 

There is a union behind Sills. There are protocols the league and teams must go through. This is one of them.

Ahhh yes, 2 of those opponents scored garbage TDs, The Jaguars scored 14 points on offense and the Cowboys converted a 3 & 30 because our nickle CB got hurt & had tons of short fields due to 4 Eagles turnovers.

The national media will be gassing up our defense all week.

Rick E said on his show Monday not to take the "Eagles haven't played anyone" bait that will be out all week. He said it will be floated often.

Do the Fletcher Cox thing. Cut him and designate it a Post June 1st, sign him to a new deal with void years.
