I don't give enough of a F do "do a little research".

Thanks for doing it for me.

Still think it's unlikely we get his A+ game.

So you are replacing bacarty as the resident hot taker then ??

If we stuff Pacheco and manage Kelce, Mahomes is going to have a really long night. He's so down on weapons.

I think JuJu and Toney are playing. Hardman is the only one we know wont play.

I mean, if you want to go this route, call me whatever you want.

I guess I'd rather be that than 4for4's beta lackey.

I'd suggest this game is more about the Eagles' legacy.  We can show right now that the last one was no fluke and that we are a force to be reckoned with for awhile.  Andy and Mahomes are in the way.  Sorry, Andy.

Who on this team are we discussing?  Kelce, Johnson, Seumalo... Boston Scott was on the PS.  That's it for the offense.  Defensively, it's only Cox, Graham.   And on ST, there's Elliott and Lovato.

Are we sure this is about the legacy of those 7 (8, if you count Scott)?   If anything its about the legacy of Lurie, Howie and Don Smolenski, but not the coaching staff (only Stoutland is a holdover from that group, and TJ Paganetti - Offensive QC coach) nor the players.

According to the draft points value pick 10 and 31 are worth 1900 points which could get us up to the 4th pick in the draft. Would you consolidate picks to get Anderson or Carter.

Anderson or Carter vs a starting CB and a RT. I doubt a team at 4 would take that without a 2nd or something else tossed in.

Wait a minute- so a franchise like the NFL which is fantastic at marketing somehow doesn't have the Eagles Superbowl jerseys for sale, hardly seems like a possibility given how well they fleece money from their fans, so are you telling me they never expected the Eagles to be there?

I think it's more of a Fanatics thing

Confusing how? I'll try to explain (my thinking on doing it).

Just the process... and the way that Google says it's older than it actually is.   No worries on explaining it to me though.  I am good in the ignorance of how it all works, and I am grateful to you for the efforts you take to make this place the best it can be,.

Depends. If Hurts also plays his A+ game, then I think the Eagles are better enough across the rest of the roster for the Eagles to win.

The way I see it, If Mahommes plays his A game and scores 40 on us, do we have faith that Hurts can put up 43+ and keep it from being a last team with the football wins with a fg game?

I dont have faith in that.

Do they have KC's for this year?

Since we have minimal mid round picks I can't see us trading up anyway. We don't come out of this draft only making 5 picks.

Hypothetically, I think he could go as high as 5. The top 4 are pretty much set in stone, but after that I could see teams waiting until later in the draft to go after DL and CB.

If you had both Jones and Tyree Wilson on the Board in your top 9 pick which player would you choose?  I think both from a position standpoint DE > OT and from an NFL readiness point of view Wilson gets the nod the bulk of the times.  I personally believe they have similar upsides.

Similar assessment of Murphy vs. Jones.

the one part of Miller’s Mock that I agree with is Levi’s in the top 9.  He isn’t there on my Board, but I’m confident that some QB hungry team is going to take him.

So I really have a hard time not seeing 3 QBs, Anderson, Carter, Wilson, Murphy ahead of Jones.

After them Bijan, one of the other two OTs (if a team prizes NFL readiness over potential), Witherspoon, and either Addison or Johnston or both, all could go before Jones.  Not on my Board, but I suspect on many of the teams’ Boards.

Yes, they could lose the game. No duh. You're taking what I'm saying too literally I think.

What you are saying is a defeatist attitude.  You are making Mahomes and Reid into some indomitable force that is without weakness.  They are not.  Their offensive weapons are banged up at QB and WR.  There is a reason that the Eagles are favored in this game.   It is far from the foregone conclusion that the Eagles can't beat the Chiefs that your recent posts are trying to make it out to be.  Maybe you are just trying to cushion the blow if they do lose, I don't know.  But this Eagles team is definitely good enough to beat the Chiefs.

Levis is more likely to go 1 than out of the top 10.

He is down a guy who missed 9 games, and averaged 3 catches for 37 yards per game.

Agreed

Mahomes is able to avoid free rushers and hit lasers with point-point accuracy 25+ yards downfield. Our DL can play well AND our DBs can cover well...and they can still score. Mahomes when he's on his game is a cheat code.

The best bet to slow them down is hit Mahomes, make him roll to his left on that bad ankle + take risks for turnovers (fumbles instead of tackles + jump routes).

We'll see how mobile he is come game time.  He was clearly hobbled against the Bengals, and that high ankle sprain likely isn't much better even after two more weeks.  Agree, when Mahomes is on, he's tough to beat, but we'll see if he is on or not.

You're overrating the impact that one single player can have on an NFL football game.  He'll still be somewhat hampered by a high ankle sprain and the Chiefs' overall health on offense is somewhat in question with Hardman out, Juju on a bad knee, McKinnon and Toney with ankle issues, and CEH only returning now after missing several games.

He's not likely to be afforded pass protection good enough to allow him the ability to make the type of throws you're speaking of, with consistency.

I dont have faith in that.

I think Mahomes can play an A+ game without scoring 40+. For example, the Eagles could have a game where they get a lot of pressure on Mahomes and he does the absolute best he can, but the Eagles defense just defends the chiefs well. Mahomes’ performance has to be evaluated in context to how the Eagles play on defense.

Yep. They have Mahomes, Kelce, Pacheco and Jones in red with the SB patch for both men and women as well as the gray jerseys.

Then NO- they simply did not expect the Birds to make it to the SB. No way they miss out of the extra $$$$ unless it was poor planning.

I'll explain anyway, for anyone that may want to know or may want to tell me I'm incorrect and why lol.

Google indexes sites for their database, so that when you type in your search words, it's easier and faster for them to find relevant matches almost instantly. The original EMB had been indexed by Google for years. So those hits are still somewhere within their database.

They indexed the original Game Day Thread for Super Bowl LII back in 2018 and at various times between then and April 30, 2020. So I'm thinking that now that I'm re-creating the thread and Google is indexing it and seeing the exact same content, just at a different URL, they (it), thinks that we are the exact same site just with a different URL.

I could be mistaken on that, but with Google showing us as having been indexed more than 10 years ago, it seems logical to me... but then again, I'm not a Vulcan. So my logic could be flawed.

Either way, my hope is that it'll help people find us when they search out information on Super Bowl LII.

No matter how great Mahomes is, how great a coach Andy is, how fast Pacheco is, etc.  we still have the ultimate X-factor working in our favor.

We can control the clock.

We have the superior running game.  We have the superior offensive line. We have receivers that can work the middle of the field.  We have a quarterback that can scramble for yards if need be.  We're just about unstoppable on 4th and short if we QB sneak it.

We have to stop Mahomes, easier said than done I know, but the key to beating the Chiefs is slowing him down.  It can be done.  Meanwhile our offense has won games just about every which way an offense can win games.

The advantage is ours.  We just have to execute.  If we can do that we have an excellent shot at winning.

I doubt that. It's just a patch anyway, it wouldn't be hard to take the existing jersey's and add a patch to them. It's either poor planning or some other stupid reason.

We'll have to see how effective they are.  I read somewhere that Toney is a long shot.  We will see.  I'm not sure they win without being really effective with the run.
