I doubt that. It's just a patch anyway, it wouldn't be hard to take the existing jersey's and add a patch to them. It's either poor planning or some other stupid reason.

I blame Gannon.  Can't be promoting a team that wants to literally gut people.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

If Mahomes plays an A+, there’s no way we can reasonably expect a W.

It’s already incredibly hard and near impossible to beat a GOAT in his prime. I’d say it would definitely be impossible to expect to beat a GOAT in his prime when the GOAT plays an A+ game.

According to the draft points value pick 10 and 31 are worth 1900 points which could get us up to the 4th pick in the draft. Would you consolidate picks to get Anderson or Carter.

For Cater, no.

For Anderson, yes.

I choose this one.

What you are saying is a defeatist attitude.  You are making Mahomes and Reid into some indomitable force that is without weakness.  They are not.  Their offensive weapons are banged up at QB and WR.  There is a reason that the Eagles are favored in this game.   It is far from the foregone conclusion that the Eagles can't beat the Chiefs that your recent posts are trying to make it out to be.  Maybe you are just trying to cushion the blow if they do lose, I don't know.  But this Eagles team is definitely good enough to beat the Chiefs.

I never said we're not good enough to win.

We did that already.  With our backup QB.

They are out of green without the patch as well.

Its possible that Eagles fans have gone nuts buying the regular greens since before the playoffs started.

I know Hurts (is/was before they were gone) the #1 seller right now.

I think JuJu and Toney are playing. Hardman is the only one we know wont play.

So far this is accurate.  JuJu is still not practicing. And it is his knee.  The same knee injured before.  Interesting as this is a killer for them.

Sneed at CB is a concussion so you never know if he gets cleared and then how does he play?

Toney and Gay are resting is what it seems like.  A less than 100% Gay would be terrific for us. He is one of two that need to make the reads on Hurts.  If he is a step slower or brings the wood with a bit less intensity that could be huge for us. Shoulder so presumably only would impact how he hits.

  • WR Mecole Hardman - Injured Reserve (Pelvis)
  • WR JuJu Smith-Schuster - Questionable (Knee)
  • CB L'Jarius Sneed - Questionable (Concussion)
  • WR Kadarius Toney - Questionable (Ankle/Hamstring)
  • OLB Willie Gay Jr. - Questionable (Shoulder)

True, you merely said that Reid and Mahomes were incapable of losing.

Eagles playoffs: 'It's a Philly Thing' merchandise selling out fast - 6abc Philadelphia

If knocking out 2 QBs and winning by 24 is not f'ing gutting a team then nothing is.

That was an excellent prediction by Gannon.

Mahomes is able to avoid free rushers and hit lasers with point-point accuracy 25+ yards downfield. Our DL can play well AND our DBs can cover well...and they can still score. Mahomes when he's on his game is a cheat code.

The best bet to slow them down is hit Mahomes, make him roll to his left on that bad ankle + take risks for turnovers (fumbles instead of tackles + jump routes).

If the Chiefs OL and WRs don’t play well it won’t matter how well Mahomes plays. He’s going to be on his arse and scrambling to throw 25 yard lasers only to watch them get dropped.

Mahomes is an incredible talent, but football is the ultimate team game. If the players around him don’t pull their weight, Mahomes won’t finish the game.

Who on this team are we discussing?  Kelce, Johnson, Seumalo... Boston Scott was on the PS.  That's it for the offense.  Defensively, it's only Cox, Graham.   And on ST, there's Elliott and Lovato.

Are we sure this is about the legacy of those 7 (8, if you count Scott)?   If anything its about the legacy of Lurie, Howie and Don Smolenski, but not the coaching staff (only Stoutland is a holdover from that group, and TJ Paganetti - Offensive QC coach) nor the players.

I don't really think it's about the legacy of any individual particularly, but I think the franchise's legacy is strengthened.  It's certainly not about Mahomes' legacy as I was responding to.  That poster says we lose because it's about Mahomes legacy.

I encourage you guys to watch some of the all-22 of the 1st half of Eagles/49ers. We had a few coverage busts and Aiyuk kept dusting Bradberry. It didn't matter because of our DL, but the Chiefs OL is actually good and Mahomes will hit on those throws.

We'll have to see how effective they are.  I read somewhere that Toney is a long shot.  We will see.  I'm not sure they win without being really effective with the run.

Toney is a long shot to play?  Pretty serious loss for them.  I hadn't read that anywhere.

I wonder if there are Bengals fans actually walking around with #9 "Burrows" jerseys.

Now that's A Philly Thing. They better back off.

They still have their #1 receiver ( Kelce ) their #2 WR ( MVS ).  JuJu's practice participation this week will determine his status.

Legacy? You forgot Stoutland, Howie, Lurie, Rocket Racoon, Mike Trout, the city, and the entire tri-state area!

Mahomes and Reid are nothing  special in this game. They have no extra legacy power. They have greatly underperformed in their 2/3 SBs.

Mahomes can have a 70s Cowboys legacy of 1 win, 2 or 3 losses to superior teams, then get a win when an NFC team is down later on.
