Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

This is very unusual. A few days before a Super Bowl, we are talking about models. I don’t remember a time watching Philly sports that we were this confident going into a championship game. Usually people would be talking about how many days it’s been since they have been wearing the same pair of skid marked boxers. It’s weird being on this side for once.

I take full responsibility for this one 🙂

Another Fun Fact

In Early May of 1994 I spent an evening with Jenny McCarthy- before her playboy issue came out. (unfortunately before cell phones, so no pics)  She was down to earth, but was rather wild in her youth. I did get an early copy of her playbod from her, she autographed it for me.   We were at a promotional event where the band i was in was playing. Here is the funny part she also got my autograph. LOL  probably threw it away the next day.

She is shorther than she looks on camera. But OHHH so hot.

I guess someone didn't like how they got blocked by our WR,s when we ran over them for 4 TD's...  LOL

Don't rely on reddit for info.  That place is a cesspool, and I have noticed way behind on content.

She Did What? GIF - Seth Meyers Late Night Seth Late Night With Seth Meyers - Discover & Share GIFs

Did they really have a "Head and Shoulders Never Not Working Protection Play of the Year" award last night? What the hell does that even mean?

Eagles opponents this year have averaged about 4.51 seconds of hangtime per punt. They've hit the 4.5 second mark about 58% of the time. Basically it's almost like a coin flip whether a punt will be in the air for four and a half seconds.

Brett Kern has punted eighteen times for the Eagles. I think that's the number, as I'm doing this from memory and I'm too lazy to turn on the other computer that has the data. Not a single one of his punts has had 4.5 seconds of hangtime. Something that should happen half of the time, and he's done it zero times. That'd be like flipping a coin eighteen times in a row and having them all come up heads. It's staggering how bad he has been.

Arryn Siposs hasn't been great this year but he at least looks like an NFL punter. Let's hope that he's in uniform on Sunday.

Oh...and to get back on topic...Cheryl Tiegs was spectacular in the seventies.

Yeah.  You’re right. The SB hasn’t been discussed to death in here or anywhere for the last 2 weeks.  Let’s dive into it.

Cool.

Does Siposs have the pinpoint precision to nail a wire midair?

I agree. There is a strange calmness than many of us feel. I'm personally concerned about Hurts because he hasn't looked good since the injury, but outside of him this is the most complete Eagles team I've ever seen. LB and P could be stronger, but outside of those they are not only solid, but among the best at their positions.

Hands down hottest chick singer from the 80s

Pin on 80's

A Niners fan called WIP last night and said he hopes Hurts breaks his arm and Minshew gets a concussion in the SB so Eagles fans could feel what it's like to have a game stolen from them.

City still struggling to cope with a game they would've never won anyway.

Always has to be an a-hole who ruins things

We’d still win with Book

So Colts HC finalists are:

Shane Steichen

Raheem Morris - defensive retread HC

Aaron Glenn - defensive young coach

Jeff Saturday - coached at a high school

Looks like it has to be Steichen's job, if they don't let the owner drink/pop pills this weekend.

So scattered thoughts about the matchup…

* So much about this matchup, at least stylistically, will come down to how Spags wants to ply on defense and how willing Reid will be to sticking with the run. The Chiefs haven’t played as much man or blitzed as much, and they’ve played more two high. Hurts hasn’t been effective in large part against the blitz. I suspect that’s how he’ll attack Hurts initially. I hope we have a better plan than WR screens. If Hurts torches them by taking off like he did against Detroit, then so be it. I don’t think we’ll see much two high unless it’s third and long. Defensively, we’ll live with Pacheco run plays, even if they’re relatively effective.

* Speaking of the Chiefs run game, the Chiefs eating clock isn’t a bad thing for the Eagles. It will help limit possessions and that IMO benefits Philly. We’re the better team and better positioned to win a grind it out game, where winning on the edges is magnified. Sirianni will be aggressive on fourth down. Our clock management is better.

* If the Chiefs are willing to live in single coverage, our pass catchers are so good we only need a decent Hurts passing game to score a bunch.

* Sirianni has been good, but he let the emotions get to him against Indy. The stakes are so much bigger. He needs keep his S together.

* Much has been talked about how our edge rushers can beat KC’s tackles, but we need our DTs to win against an elite interior OL. A single edge winning his matchup on a play isn’t enough. Mahomes is too good. We need Hargrave, Cox and Williams to collapse to pocket to eliminate his escape route. Even with that, Mahomes will make insane plays. You gotta hope to get to him a few times or draw a few holds.

* We aren’t a team that typically starts out pounding the ball. We want to pass to get the lead and then shorten the game. As I mentioned earlier, KC running and limiting possessions isn’t a bad thing. The Chiefs can be run on, especially on the edges. Penalty-free football to stay on schedule is just fine since we’re comfortable playing with all four downs. No field goals unless it’s end of the half or fourth and long.

Maybe we’re lucky and Steichen and his wife (is he married?) get grossed out by Irsay’s toilet time.

Well there was the year Wentz took a cheap head shot while on the ground that gave him the concussion, and then our backup QB Josh McCown hurt his hip in the same game- yeah we had been there.
