I know that the Minshew pick 6 is going to be focus.  But this game was lost in the first half, honestly.  Offense didn't get a first down until under 3 minutes left in the first half.  They refused to run the football.

Sure, there were still opportunities, and the TD called back was HUGE... No way to minimize that.  But they dug themselves such a big hole in the first half emotionally... they couldn't dig out.  Just a garbage performance in the first half by the offense.  Not really a great performance by the defense either, just giving soft zones to Dalton all day in the first half.  Not sure why they didn't go to more man earlier.  AND.. the bigger thing... are they literally playing with one hand behind their back hoping to win and get into the playoffs without revealing something?  If so, that type of hubris will always bite you.  And it has.    Meaningful game next week against the Giants for the Eagles.  Good news is that it isn't meaningful for the Giants.  Are we going to see the reverse of last year's finale against Dallas?  They played their starters forever and our backups were playing the whole time.  Gross.

Quite eloquent.   You said more in one gif than I did in my last post.

When your QB is inaccurate and making bad decisions, it doesn't matter what plays you call.

Hmmmm... what if you were to...

RUN THE BALL?!

12 rushing attempts for our pro bowl RB - F you Nick and F you Shane

Good thing I slept the afternoon away.

Gotta take care of business next week.

Or this entire season was fool's gold.

Ok but there’s this middle ground where we can be objective about what Hurts has done this season and whether he’s the guy worth a top of the market QB deal.

Eagles with Hurts at 24 years old: 13-1 and looking like the league MVP.

Eagles without Hurts but with Minshew who some here and in the national media have speculated would be at least as good as Hurts in this offense: 0-2 and looking like a journeyman backup.

With Hurts this is the best team in the league. Without him they are looking like garbage.  Pay the man his money.

Not worried about next week. Hurts is back, and that's all we need to get back on track for now.

offensive game plan for nearly the entire game was absolutely dog crap. From not running the ball early to throwing against Lattimore. As good of play calling as they had in Dallas they were as atrocious in this game.

defense was good in the second half after they made the adjustments at HT. Problem is the defense shouldn’t need 2 quarters to finally make an adjustment to what teams are doing. It’s been an issue this year. When the initial game plan works we are fine. However if it’s not working then usually need HT to make an adjustment. Need to be quicker on adjustments because today showed just one bad half from the defense and giving up 13 cost them along with the horrific offense.

It will be, with Hurts back. He's the MVP for a reason.

Part of being MVP is being available.  Mahomes has 4000 yards and 40 passing TD's.  He is the MVP.

yep. They have been horse crap.

Minshew proved that he ain't no starter.

Agree on offense. I’d add no defensive adjustments in the first half either.

I can’t believe we lost that game

How about the offensive line missing their MVP Lane Johnson, they were a mess today.

We likely get to see how he looks without Lane next week

If it were up to me we won’t.

It’s why I laughed when people had them mocked to take Bijan Robinson in the draft this year. The only time they commit to the run game is when they want to slam their MVP quarterback into linemen 20 times a game in freezing weather and get him hurt.

Hopefully this is a wake up call.  They were just bad all around today. Minshew  really hurt his value. Thought a week ago he’d keep us competitive.  Real eye opener.

Coaching was terrible.  This team without Hurts has been exposed.  They were lifeless.  Better figure that out quickly.

Boger has been instructed to facilitate a Saints Win so as to make next week's Eagles v Giants Game a Must-Watch, Divisional turning point.

Good Theater, Great for ratings, just what the NFL wants.

Does anybody think this sh!t is not orchestrated? Multi-Billion Dollar businesses do not rely on chance.

Losing Faith in the competitive outcome...

It was never about Minshew, it was about downplaying Hurts' success.

So much for that...

Nope. It was about believing one of the top defenses in the NFL with a historically good D-Line could actually up their game in situations like this without having to be bailed out. Not to mention the rest of the team is objectively very good.

Not worried about next week hasn’t worked out well for a while now.

So would Dillard really be that much worse than Driscoll?!

I can’t believe they took this man’s body of work, Hurts, and lit it up in flames

Do you genuinely believe we score 10 points if hurts was in today?

Nobody is asking Minshew to play like Jalen, but just don’t play like that. He was making dope decisions all over the field

That's because our "precautions" F'ed us over.

Next week is do or die with Hurts back. No worries.
