I’ll miss 4x4’s food posts that I saw because people quoted him. Those were good at least.

Yea, that's my issue with it.  Having Smith back there just opens him up to unnecessary hits and potential injury.  They already do that enough with the WR screens.  If Covey can't go, bring up Ward.  Would be a nice story to see him play in the SB after being on the PS in 2017, then being the go to WR while they had trash around him and then going back to the PS.  Ward, as pedestrian as he is at WR, is a total team player.

He's one of the leaders on the team.  A big reason Nick Sirianni isn't speaking to the team tomorrow night before the Super Bowl is because he is instead going to let the players and leaders like Greg Ward speak instead.

Ward as a WR would be a good story as a PR he scares me, it's 50/50 whether he's going to muff it or let it bounce 20 yards behind him.

Covey may not be anything special but he's sure handed.

I don't care if he can't run if all he does is going there and call a fair catch and secure it that's good enough, don't need a hammy to do that...

I didn’t like 4x4 at all, but if he got the boot, you certainly deserved some time off for the "mom” nonsense.

They used him once at PR against SF. If Covey can't go and Ward isn't called up I don't know who else they would turn to. I would certainly trust Smith waaaaay more than Watkins or Scott.
