Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Hurts needs to work on staying healthy so that he doesnt cost this team

Ok but there’s this middle ground where we can be objective about what Hurts has done this season and whether he’s the guy worth a top of the market QB deal.

Just so we are clear... I don't know that any QB is worth a top of the market QB deal.  $40M-$50M per year is almost insurmountable, especially if you don't have cheap players around him.   And that number is only going to rise...

Eagles won’t win at Bucs

I can’t believe we lost that game

I’m not as surprised. The saints have been playing well. They’ve won 3 in a row. Last 9 games they have given up more than 21 points once. When you add the fact their pass defense got Lattimore back and they were top 5 over this stretch and 26th against the run then your coach refuse to accept that then you tend to put yourself in a crap position to lose

You afraid of the Giants?

Im afraid of the actors and actress who played the Little Giants.  The Ice Box would have had 4 sacks and a pick today.

Glad missed this one.

So would Dillard really be that much worse than Driscoll?!

He was a disaster at RT against Seattle a couple years ago, but that was back then so who knows. They obviously think so considering Driscoll is the #2. Other option is Dillard at LT and Mailata at RT but that opens two question marks instead of one.

We just lost to a piece of ish team at home

This loss was predictable and the way life goes sometimes. Things in life change on a dime and this team just isn’t good right now.

But head up and eyes forward. Let’s get Hurts back and give it our best against the Giants and see what happens.

Meanwhile, enjoy your families everyone and happy new year. No matter what happens over the next few weeks, we are a truly blessed people.

How so? The right side of the O-Line was so bad. Driscoll is a backup guard playing tackle

offensive game plan for nearly the entire game was absolutely dog crap. From not running the ball early to throwing against Lattimore. As good of play calling as they had in Dallas they were as atrocious in this game.

defense was good in the second half after they made the adjustments at HT. Problem is the defense shouldn’t need 2 quarters to finally make an adjustment to what teams are doing. It’s been an issue this year. When the initial game plan works we are fine. However if it’s not working then usually need HT to make an adjustment. Need to be quicker on adjustments because today showed just one bad half from the defense and giving up 13 cost them along with the horrific offense.

Looked more like rhino crap.

I don't know why they didn't run more today.  Not like the game was ever out of hand even at 13-0.

This lose goes mostly on offensive coaches.

How about the offensive line missing their MVP Lane Johnson, they were a mess today.

They struggled with blocking just 4

Do you genuinely believe we score 10 points if hurts was in today?

Nobody is asking Minshew to play like Jalen, but just don’t play like that. He was making dope decisions all over the field

The offensive coordinator ran the ball 14 times against the #23 run defense, and passed 30+ times against the #2 pass defense.

This game is on the coaching staff first and foremost.

Are we sure the Giants are gonna rest starters next week?

Agree on offense. I’d add no defensive adjustments in the first half either.

Yep.  They thought they could just go soft zone... and it would magically be good enough.  Even so though... if the offense sustains anything at all, maybe they'd have actually had some time to discuss the adjustments on the sidelines.  It was literally 3 and out after 3 and out.

When the Eagles do this same type of gameplan with Hurts they blame Hurts for not giving it to the RB.  As I've been saying, no, it's on the coaches.  They need to call designed runs to the RB to mix in there.

That said 2nd drive they tried running and went 3 and out all the same.  I do believe they need to call more designed runs early on though.  Been saying it for a long time but the blame was always shifted to Hurts around here for it.

Because several other players were worse. Even more so when you factor in the context that he’s a backup. Every single OL did something bad today, to single out Driscoll is absurd. Not to mention Minshew, Bradberry getting burned, poor safety play, Kazir White was horrendous, and awful coaching.

No.  They shouldn’t, and they won’t.  The Eagles will be the 5 seed

Disagree. He was a huge important liability

As well as the "Minshew is the best backup in the league and would start for at least half of NFL teams” crowd.

As disappointing today is, it may not matter in a week.

It’s so goddamn frustrating to see them have success with the run game and then completely abandon it.

There’s no reason for Minshew to throw 32 times. None.
