Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I think the answer will come down to how the Chiefs decide to play against us. Will Spags blitz? Will it be in single high? How much pressing?

The way some people in the media are talking they will have 22 people on the field and double everyone

PR is pretty much a worthless position anymore, just put Smith back there. I have the most faith in him not to screw it up

I wouldn't be shocked if the Chiefs go really heavy on the screen game to try to negate the pass rush. It's Andy's bread and butter. Always has been. Hope the Eagles are ready for it. They're gonna be chomping at the bit to get pressure and the Chiefs may look to take advantage of that.

I'm interested to see how we decide to play on offense early. Whole bunch of downfield passing like usual? Lean on the run to control clock? I think this is a game where we need to play mano y mano offensively. Nothing too cute. If we have numbers in the running game, be patient, stick with it, we'll break one eventually. If they overcommit, throw it down the field to our stud WRs.

I have this vision of coming out with a 12 play 6 minute smash mouth run heavy drive for a TD that sets the tone for the rest of the game.  Just busting up the furniture and out muscling them on O and D.  Just beat the daylights out of them.

So yeah, prolly throw 10 times to start the game lol.

People like 4for4 keep boards like this interesting. People have pegged Philly fans all wrong all along. We’re not all a-holes. Most of us are seemingly soft if these boards are any indicator.

Nah place will be better without his nonsense

Yup yup.  That is text book Andy.

If I remember correctly, their first punt was from deep in their end after Reddick came close to getting a strip sack on Johnson. I imagine Siri was hoping for a good return to better what he had hoped would be good FP regardless.

San Fran punted at their 26. But then Smith didn’t attempt to field it or even fair catch and let it bounce to the Eagles 29. And that was the Jobe penalty so it pushed them back to the 15.

With the flow of the game and Purdy already knocked out, just felt a little odd.

Pressing our WRs seems like a bonehead move for them. 6 and 11 can beat press.

blitz with a zone behind is what i expect from them

Our lb are vulnerable to swing passes. Pacheco could have a big game

If I'm Gannon, I'm not over-relying on the DL to get pressure. They'll probably have some moments, but they'll also have moments where they're not getting pressure at all for extended periods. I'd play man when the DL isn't getting there. Maybe their less than stellar WRs beat our good corners. Kelce will be a problem, but we can bracket him a bit and force the ball elsewhere. Gannon can't just play his zones and pray the DL gets there or KC will score 40+.

Super Bowl profile pic change done.

I remember we ran it again the falcons game to open 2018. Are you referencing one with Jalen?

Last year against the 49ers in the home opener. It was 4th and goal and Sirianni wanted to pander to the fans I guess. I forget who took the snap but it went to Ward for the pass. 49ers were in Zone so the CB literally didn’t move and Jalen ran his route right to him and just stopped and turned around. There also wasn’t a single different option so Ward just threw it away.

It was comically bad. It might have been on the drive with Quez Watkins 90 something yard catch that resulted in 0 points.

Yea, that's my issue with it.  Having Smith back there just opens him up to unnecessary hits and potential injury.  They already do that enough with the WR screens.  If Covey can't go, bring up Ward.  Would be a nice story to see him play in the SB after being on the PS in 2017, then being the go to WR while they had trash around him and then going back to the PS.  Ward, as pedestrian as he is at WR, is a total team player.

This will be the best OL Philly sees in the playoffs, probably not the best they've seen all year but definitely better than NYG and the whiners o line.

Hopefully eagles D line still dominates.

First, he is a criminal who has stabbed someone in the neck and got caught using cocaine.

Second, he was previously named in a followup lawsuit to the scandal that got McNabb, Faulk, and others fired.

Third he is not really a witness to the event in question because he does not remember the conversation (he may have been very drunk)

A woman who works with lots of drunk people in public was not observed to recoil in horror when Irvin said disgusting things to her is not evidence of his innocence.

Marriot has better lawyers than Irvin does. Irvin is a crap witness as possibly drunk at the time and a serial offender.
