Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

The decision to sit Hurts out this week was asinine.  If he could have played, he should have played.  He not only is their best player but he is the unquestioned leader of the team.  Hated the way this coaching staff has approached the last 2 weeks.

No it matters. Hurts our draft pick

One rough game takes away a full season of great coaching?

13 wins.   How would he not be?

Who would be a clear better choice?

It sure as F will. All the play callers suck on the team and Nick sits and watches. They are f'ed going forward.

I would take Demeco in a heartbeat

The offensive coordinator ran the ball 14 times against the #23 run defense, and passed 30+ times against the #2 pass defense.

This game is on the coaching staff first and foremost.

Yes, many aspects of the team were off today. But we could have won with this gameplan, albeit inefficiently. We also still could still have lost in a more run heavy gameplan with the things Gardner was doing out there and the balls he was airmailing.

Dont throw that lackadaisical pass inside your own 10 and it’s still 13-10. Who does that, other than Carson Wentz last year to end Indy’s season? Don’t try and wiggle out of a sack with no conscience of where the ball is. Thank god no one else was around to get it. How many times did he throw the ball away today? Maybe once, twice? For how many sacks he took that’s such a disadvantageous ratio.

Saints were playing some tight pass D,  but if that means Gardner now can’t even complete a pass, something else entirely is going on there. A QB’s job description isn’t to receive a pro bowl roster and the most pristine gameplan, officiating, opponent possible. It’s to accept the circumstance given, as difficult as it is, and do the best you can. That’s the best Gardner Minshew can do.

Yea its been more than one game

Disagree. He was a huge important liability

The entire OL was bad today. Mailata got beat on several plays, Seumalo wasn’t good, Kelce had some bad penalties. I’m not saying he was great, but he was no worse today than anyone else. Plus all the penalties across the board.

Damn you Eagles.

Was still on cloud nine from last night's UGA victory.

Now it's only cloud eight.

Because several other players were worse. Even more so when you factor in the context that he’s a backup. Every single OL did something bad today, to single out Driscoll is absurd. Not to mention Minshew, Bradberry getting burned, poor safety play, Kazir White was horrendous, and awful coaching.

There was an insane drop off from Lane to Driscoll. If you have an issue with me or anyone else pointing that out then go pound sand buddy

The DL getting after the QB like they have has saved Gannon's ass. They might set the NFL record for most sacks in a season. Without them, this defense would be Swiss cheese every week. Andy Dalton and Taysom Hill starting the game 16/16 is an embarrassment. Completely inexcusable.

How amazing would it be if the Panthers get this onsides kick and win in regulation, because the Bucs' kicker missed the PAT?

I mean, it would suck... but it would be amazing.

Saints likely going to finish 8-9 after next week at home vs. Carolina with the panthers having nothing to play for but draft position and saints not caring as they don’t own their first. At the beginning of the year I thought the saints were good enough to win 7 to 9 games. So they are right where i thought they were.

The saints today aren’t nearly as bad as their record showed or as they were earlier in the year. They started 2-5. They are 5-4 in their last 9 and won 3 in a row since their bye. Their defense has figured it out again. First 7 games they were giving up 28.6 ppg. Last 9 they are giving up 15 ppg. Held the niners and eagles to 13 and 10 points.

At this point I’m more worried about getting on the right track for a run, one and done will be embarrassing after all that work

And now their overconfidence and cockiness will hurt them.  This team is done

Been more than 1 rough game.  Overall he's done a good job as OC.  I don't see him as a HC though.

We all saw how much Hurts means to this team. His pay day sure did go up but lost his MVP chance.

The OL has benefited greatly from the RPOs in helping them pass protect. Without those today, they were tee'd off on.

They're probably the best offense in the NFL. Not sure what else you can expect.

That's 1.  There's likely going to be half a dozen openings.  Can you give me 5 more names that have done more this year and are more deserving?

Of course he is. But so would Dillard. Your post was "can Dillard really be that much worse than Driscoll?” Which is a different point than "We missed Lane Johnson today”

If you would’ve said that I wouldn’t have disagreed. The implication was that Driscoll didn’t belong on the field and I pointed out that I thought several other players had worse games today than Driscoll. Don’t be contentious there’s no need for it.
