I know.  But it's true. Maybe not identical twins.  But they played the same exact part. It was an important role.  Someone had to do it.

See my post above. Their roles were more opposite than similar.  Veejer prized high quality dialogue, which 4for4 referred to as pillar talk.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Philly sports fans are emotional. If you aren't then you are a fugazi. Feel free to put me on ignore. And nobody said this place is for fighting but we don't put up with BS.

Are you being serious right now?

Last I checked you live in Utah.

Are you saying you lack the emotional intelligence to follow the rules of a message board and everyone who wants to follow the rules should ignore you? (ignoring the lame insult)

We agree with you. Go to rant and rave and be emotional. We will all ignore you not being here as we follow the rules.

when you want to sit at the adult table and follow the rules I will be glad to talk to you. When you want to go nuts I will be glad I'm not there.

Bring your whole crew. Petition to get 4x4 back as a Ranter. Insult me 24/7 in there if you like.

This is not the dirty 30. Go be the dirty 30 in RnR.

I've been on the forums since the original so no need to explain the rules. Glad you will be ignoring me. You won't be missed...I don't ever remember seeing your name before tonight honestly.

And? Where do you think I'm from? Hint-it's not Utah and I've been to Jazz games. Lots of a-holes near the court.

Sure it is. That's why we had a freaking courtroom in the basement of the Vet. That doesn't mean it's always out, but we do have that side.

I agree with Franklin. Being an a-hole is an a-hole thing.

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.  1Corinthians 13:11

People from Philly have an a-hole side that comes out in different degrees. It's a Philly Thing ;)

Checked in, more tantrums in the blog. Wasn’t always this way. Amazing what a few people can do.

I'm glad 4for4 is gone, when my wife got home today she asked me how my day was and I said great this total tool on the EMB got banned, she rolled her eyes at me but still I'll take the win.

A message board provides you the highlight of your day? Diversify your life

I know the "big backz” is a cliched joke here, but man, watching Blount in 52 is just so much fun.

Every single one of the six can be funny and smart and engaging but they don't think the rules are for them.

I think the reasons appear to be:

1 - They buy into the base level angry Philadelphian myth and embrace it  (everywhere has angry people, if Philly has 1% more its no excuse)

2 - they think life is about ignoring the rules if you think one of RTKs buddies got to break the rules a couple times.

3 - Rules for basic human behavior on a message board are soft

4 - They know better than VA and the Mods.

Am I missing any other reasons?

I don't want anyone banned but I want people treated with respect here. The people. Crush our ideas or hot takes and comment when you think I am wrong but make it about the discussion, not about me.

We all know respect is off the table in RnR. Its the whole point. The rules for RnR are clear.

I think everyone should read the rules page again. I know I did today after the incident.

So freaking what? Grow a pair or use the ignore feature. People who are that soft have the choice of using that feature or clicking on other threads. He didn't threaten, dox, or use racist attacks. This is a PHILLY sports team we are here to talk about. We are a-holes. If someone chooses not to use the ignore feature when they constantly feel attacked by one member they are complicit.

When I was a kid my brother punched me in the face once, before I could react he knew I was going to tell on him so he ran to my mom and said my face ran into his hand

Its 4x4s responsibility to not run his hand into my face not my responsibility to not unwillingly run my face into his hand.

If y'all want to punch each other in the face go to RNR lots of face punching and pee pee measuring going on there.

That's not a Philly thing that's generally an insecure man thing.

There aren't many people I have gone after personally on this forum. I'm happy to appolgize and admit when I'm wrong, which is quite often. I'm not looking to fight with anyone but they happen and the point here isn't just 4for4 if you read HE and GM's posts. This goes well beyond. People fight and get into it and the report feature is being used because some think this is a safe space. It's a sports forum. Arguments and heated discussions happen. That's the bottom line.

I was hoping we'd get someone like him again but Howie had other plans

Yup. Also watching Brandon brooks in that game makes you appreciate just how freaking good he was before the injuries. It’s a shame he had the injuries he did and ended the way he did. Could you imagine a line of mailata, Dickerson, kelce, brooks (healthy) and lane even for just a season. Talk about ridiculousness

I'll agree with you about the a holes at jazz games, difference is when someone calls someone from Utah an ahole they don't wear it with a badge of honor and sense of pride and say it's a Utah thing.

They usually say sorry or swear at you but they dont embrace it cause contrary to your and others belief being an a hole is not a compliment.

I forgot the little things like how weird 52 was with back to back missed chip shot kicks.

And 4for4 was a curmudgeon. It happens.

Yup. Also the last 6 passing yards leader who’s played on a SB has lost. So we either continue the trend or we ended it

Wasn't Mahomes the passing leader this season? Let's continue that streak then lol

I've been here since 2004. I just rejoined in August since I had no idea the boards had a 2.0.

I don't care what you think about me or if you think about me. Keep what you think about me to yourself. Its called being an adult who can read and comprehend the rules.

BTW, its not just the last 6 passing leaders. Its every passing yards leader in SB history. 0-6 is it.

Adults can take the punches and not resort to constantly crying to mods. Goes both ways.

This is the most accurate description of a "It’s a Philly Thing” of anything else being attributed to "It’s a Philly Thing”.
